Does anyone have it and what was the cost?

Some http://www.homestarrunner.com videos are in that format and we can't view them. Of course WMP will not play them.

Thanks

I use Nero Showtime to play MP4 videos, usually. And price varies, I got it cheap on ebay as part of Nero 6 right after Nero 7 was released.

Once you try this, you'll never go back.

Once you try this, you'll never go back.Actually, I have tried that one, and DID go back. ;)

But if I remember right, I think I was looking for it to play back a specific video file type, and it turns out that it didn't. So I didn't have a lot of use for it and deleted it not long after I installed it.

Unfortunately, by then it had already reassigned all my video file types to default to using that as a player and when I got rid of it, it didn't change them back so I had to manually go back in and reset all my default "open with" file types before I could get rid of all those "traffic cone" icons.

Nah, must not have been too keen on that one; it's rare that I actually dislike a program enough to install it, try it, then delete it on the spot.

Really? I had no porblem wiht file associations. Perhaps you tried an earlier version. When I installed it (on two different machines), it asked me before making those associations.
