Where would you go on your ultimate holiday? And why? Money is no object and neither is time. You can be as specific as you want to.

Naturellement. You want to come to the greatest country in the world, Jason. :D
I'd like to grace a few Gomers with my presence. :p It'd be fun to see what some of you are like in real life. So, I'd like to come to the States, and trip around and stay with a couple of the Gomers I'm closest to. There's a band I wouldn't mind seeing, either.;) In fact, I could probably handle a Christian music festival and hear lots of bands. A trip home through Thailand to visit some Kiwis would be good, too.

I've always wanted to go to the Galapagos Islands, Madagascar (Love Lemurs), Kodiak Island during a salmon run, central America to see the Aztec ruins and take a Biblical archeology tour.

Need a porter, Sharon? :p
You just don't want me to stay with you. :D

Nope, no porter but maybe a partner. I pack very light

I would like to meet other Gomers, wherever on earth they are. Also, me being a huge car enthusiast, I would like to go to the Ferarri and Lamborghini factories in Italy, I've heard you can tour them.

That would be rather nice. At some point I would love to tour Europe. Ideally, my 'ultimate' holiday would include visits to:
* England - to see the beautiful countryside; to watch an Ashes test match at Lords; to visit the McLaren factory; to watch a game of soccer at Old Trafford; family background
* Ireland - it has the most beautiful green countryside in the world, period
* Germany - to see some of the history; to fang a fast car around the most demanding and legendary racing circuit in the world; the Nurburgring
* France - apparently Paris is nice, as the French countryside
* Switzerland - one need only look at some photos to fall in love with Swizerland, WOW!
* Austria - same as above. The hills are alive...
* Italy - Rome (and the Colleseum); Venice; Italian F1 Grand Prix at Monza (the 'spiritual' home of motorsport); The Dolomites
* Monte-Carlo - to see the F1 Grand Prix
* Belgium - it has spectacular countryside and forests; to see the Belgian F1 Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps (the best track in the world)
* Malta - I have always had a soft spot for this tiny island nation (plus it makes a cameo appearance in the Bible)
* Israel - to see the Holy Land
* Greece - Athens is a lovely city with alot of history; to visit Corinth etc
* Turkey - Constantinople; Ephesus (or where it used to be); maybe even Patmos
* Egypt - too see the only remaining World Wonder of the ancient world
* Scandinavia - it is both stunning and captivating
Other than that: China, Canada, the US and Antartica sound good as well. And then of course there's New Zealand... :D
I am planning on robbing several banks to finannce this. ;) :D

Why? ;)
Because everyone knows I want to go to Oz and I'm too lazy to type my itinerary.

Colin's vacation (holiday) would've included a trip to Arizona to visit me and the Grand Canyon, but since I'm going to Oz, he figured the Grand Canyon wasn't worth it.

Since money is no object, firstly I'd travel first class, and get to have hot towels handed out to me for a change!!!
Now the unselfish christian concious part of me says that I would spend my money helping in orphanges in china with the thrown away baby girls.
But, pretending that this woud already be well taken care of with my vast riches I would have a round the world holiday visiting as many places as I could, including spending Christmas in a country where it snows and I can sing those traditional songs like White Christmas and Chestnuts roasting by an open fire and not be sweating as I sing them.
(Chestnuts roasting on a hot car bonnet, jack frost suffering heat exhasution on the lawn.............!!)
I would love to visit Canada, areas of America, Europe, just about everywhere really - had this crazy 'church crawl' idea once. To explain, in Aust it is fashionable for the alcholic youth to take what are called 'pub crawls' where they try to visit as many pubs in a weekend or alocated time frame as possible and yes, the object is to get as drunk as possible. I know, worth the time and effort isn't it!!!
Anyway, love the beach and water, love the mountains and rainforests, love the outback and rocks, love to see just about everything, money's all that holding me back!!
ausgirl
oh yeah, I'd visit some of you all too, just that I don't really know anyone yet!:p
