Hope you haven't heard this one before:
A man of the cloth (not using any term that may offend any denomination!), woke to an absolutely beautiful Sunday morning. Sunny, clear, birds chirping, and decided he's skip church to play golf. So he rings his second in charge and tells him he's sick, could he take the service for him. 2nd in charge agrees and so he heads off to a course some distance away where he's sure non of his parishiners will see him.
Meanwhile St Peter and God are watching down on what is going on. St Peter says to God 'well aren't you going to stop him', God says, 'just wait and see what I've got up my sleeve for him'.
The man of the cloth lines his ball up, tees off and scores a hole in one, first ever.
St Peter says to God, 'what are you doing, why reward him with that?'
"well,' says God - 'who's he going to be able to tell?"
Moral of the story, got to church on Sunday, don't play golf!:rolleyes:
