Lunch person? I get to provide lunch for the students.
I have a great idea for saving money on school food - provide all the teachers with shovels and they can collect road kill on their way into work in the mornings....
once it is made into burgers the kids will not be able to tell.
Then the teachers can have better food for themselves. He he he .
Queue up for your squirrell bur- Harumph - I mean beef burgers...

The syllabus should involve character building courses.
Personally, I think all the kids should learn how to do shoulder massages - they could practice on the hard working teachers.
It would be nice if we had a swimming pool - so let us have geology and archaeology classes for six weeks and let the students did us a big hole.
Then we could have construction and architecture classes to build a swimming pool - I mean, why waste a nice big hole.
If we teach Roman History we could carry whips - give the students an interactive lesson on what it was like to be a slave... if we call it 'Combined architecture/construction/Roman History 101', we may get away with it long enough to get a roof on the pool.
Anyone still want to be a student? lol

...then again, if the students were smart about it they could overthrow the teachers and say that they we re-enacting the sacking of Rome when the slaves revolted ;)
On a more serious note: what would the syllabus be?
Sports - Mountaineering, canoeing, outdoors stuff (none competitive)
Sports - long distance orienteering (running in the countryside) and archery for competitive types...
History... Starting now and working backwards would be cool.
Geography... where are the best places to go on holiday.
Math... how to balance your household accounts, work out your taxes and save for those special things - no algebra and complicated cosines, quadratic factors, logarithms and such - I mean - who uses them after their last math exam?? They can always learn them at college if they need them in later life.
English... three hours a day posting on the Third Day forum, with a spell checker. Also, practice at filling in job/college application forms and other useful writing and typing skills.
Biology/science - what can you eat that is not poisonous 'out there'. What is likely to eat you if you are not careful.
'Special Skillz' - cooking, sewing, hygiene, gardening, car mechanics - for boys and girls!
Any other suggestions?

Well, every school has more than one teacher, so yes, you still teach alot of subjects, but since HotWireD is an automotive expert, he will teach the atuo repair class, that is the only class he will teach, b/c he is also busy cooking/serving lunch, and cleaning the school.

yeah you can get em from other places...you can even make em at home. It's just something that is served in just about EVERY school cafeteria, so that's what it seem so to be known best for. Actually we had em for lunch after church Sunday...they're very quick to make....
and..uh...we eat pumpkin in places besides Pumpkin Pie...least my family does...Pumpkin Bread..um...G-ma uses it in some recipes....but I don't know all of em...

Notice to all Gomer School workers from Principal Gomer:
"Our wonderfull lunch staff is hereby ordered by the Administration of this school (me) to cook very tasty and healthy meals containing portions of each of the following: meats, veggies, and fruit (for dessert). What you cook does not matter, as long as each meal has foods of each type in it. Also, any student who does not eat ALL of thier lunch will have detention with me after school for a week. Teachers, janitor, and lunchroom staff, I thank you all for your attention, hard work, and dedication to the few students of this fine educational establishment. Keep up the good work, and God bless you all!"
