no, the point is the earth is dying away, it is a wasteland, we cannot prevent the destruction of the earth, that being said we shouldnt be careless either, but no al gores a moron...top scientists ripped this movie a part, one was quoted as saying that in research theyve done it was seen that temperatures were similar at the north pole years upon years ago as they are today, and he sarcastially asked if that was due to modern man

Listening to the radio (BBC Radio 4) on the way to work yesterday, I heard the most stramge thing....

Apparently, in the 1960's and 1970's the predominant opinion amongst the scientific community was the the world was entering an ice age...

...they were trying to convince us that we were entering a period of GLOBAL COOLING.

Now, if that is the case, and the scientific evidence up until that time indicated this enough for the scientific community to be concerned, then where is the data coming from that indicates global warming... from the 1980's and 1990's???

Al Gore is the poster boy for liberal humanism. They are so conceited and self-centered that they truly believe that “man” is larger than this planet and capable of destroying it by our own work. They completely ignore the obvious truths about volcanoes and forests fires..etc..

It’s actually very scary to think that people who are so entirely full of themselves, almost to a godlike complex, get so close to being in positions of ultimate authority.

Can you imagine what a person who truly believes man is capable of killing the planet would do as President? To what lengths he would willingly sacrifice people to attain his ambitions of harmony with the earth?

i've seen an increase of mean ambient temperate of about 30-40 degrees in the last year alone. i can't help but think global warming...

I dunno...looking at the yellow clouds that seem to loom over every big city in America, I'd had to say we're capable of destroying the earth. In my home town, almost all of the open fields that existed when I was little are gone. Even greenhouses have been wiped out for houses or stores. I'm only 22.

Yup. Some say it's because of all the toasters and skillets waffles use for their warming pleasure, I think I believe them. We need to find a way of heating things up without heating things up. That would be brilliant!

years ago i suggested a way of lowering our body's temp to about 60 degrees F with no negative side affects. this way food stuffs wouldn't need to be as warm as they are now. alas, my method was laughed at and i was banished from the biothermic community.
