For me, it's Disney World, hands down. Love, love, love Space Mountain, Pirates of the Carribean, and Haunted Mansion.

My favourite amusement park is my own imagination, unfortunately it has an exclusive membership of one and I am not sure how I could let anyone else in!
As to amusement parks, most are too far away from me and I do not travel well, so by the time I get to one I would probably want to go home again.
One of those NASA/Space ones in the US sounds cool though.

I've only been to Disneyland and Universal Studios. I think I liked Universal Studios better.

Too many great places to choose just one favorite. :p It would probably be a toss up between Disneyland and Busch Gardens Williamsburg (anyone ridden Alpengeist? Weeeee!)
i have never been to Disney Land but i know it can not beat Disney WorldI've been to Disneyland several times, and never DisneyWorld, but it's my understanding (and I could be wrong, if so, consider me standing corrected already :) ) that DisneyWorld INCLUDES all of what's in Disneyland, plus a whole bunch of other stuff? Which tells me that as great as Disneyland is, Disneyworld would be as good as that, PLUS a whole lot better. Which is why I want to GO! :D
But out of all those on the list, I've only been to Disneyland and Busch Gardens. Under the category of "other" though, I used to be a season ticket holder at Marriott's/Paramount's Great America, in Santa Clara, CA. Great park. Been to Carowinds just once to actually ride rides (probably my least favorite park), and Kings Dominion once for a 3D concert (so saw very little park that day, hope to remedy that in July).
One of my favorite places to spend the day doing rides though is the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (where The Lost Boys was filmed :) ) The Giant Dipper is one of my favorite wooden coasters. WooHOO! :D

I voted for six flags atlanta cause it's the only one I have been to on the list.
I would like to place a write in vote for The Miracle Strip Amusement Park in Panama City Beach Florida. Anyone who has been there will at this point be thinking to themselves "WHY". Ok I'll tell you why.
When I was a young lad, our family would vacation every year in Panama City and go to this amusement park. Every year the same motel and everything. Thirty some odd years later my wife and I take our boys to Panama City on vacation. It was like stepping into a time machine for me. The amusement park was just as I remembered it 30 years earlier. The big wooden roller coaster even looked to have the same cars. The same rides and the same food. We even got to stay in the same motel as I did as a youngen'.
It's not on the list but another cool place is Dollywood in the smokey mountains.

I just love the atmosphere. Great place. Lot's of great memories from there.
And I just came back from Gatlinburg a few weekends back. We weren't able to stop at Dollywood while we were in that neck o' the woods, only had a few days off, so didn't have the time to spend the day there, but from what I've seen, it looks like a fun place. :)
coolio i have heard of Paramount Park i think i will check out right...now...it looks coolGreat America was awesome. I think they might have been the first park to get Top Gun and/or Vortex, I can't remember which. Couple of really EXCELLENT coasters, one you sit with your feet dangling, and the other you're actually standing up for it. TOO cool!

Ok well this has been my week so far...
Tuesday: Knotts Berry Farm
Wednesday (yesterday): Disneyland
This Saturday: Six Flags Magic Mountain
I think I like Disneyland better because of the atmosphere, but 6 flags because of the rides.

I used to want to live in Santa Cruz (Santa Carla hehe) ever since seeing that movie. I've seen it about 257 times.

Well, my favorite amusement park that I've been to is Six Flags: Great America in Chicago. I had a blast.
But...
I don't think that Epcot, Magic Kingdom, etc. really count... In my opinion, they're more theme parks than amusement parks. Instead of focusing on the "thrill" type rides like rollercoasters, etc., they tend to focus on themed, more family-friendly type rides and attractions.
But, say what you will. That's just my $.02 . :)

I like Magic Kingdom because it's the best park I've been to so far for non-rollercoaster-riders. There's so much always going on, and a lot of mellow rides.

I can't remember the name of it, but it's what they tore down for Batman. Do you remember the roller coaster that had two upside-down loops on each end of the building, and it went thrugh one loop, then back down, through the building, then up the other loop backwards?
I miss rolling thunder too!!!!!!!!!!

I went to both Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure on a band trip, and they were really fun! I think the Hulk and Dueling Dragons were my favorites, but all the roller coasters were good!
