Post a pic of a car and let the rest of us guess. If you are correct, you get to post a new one.
If you are feeling really game, post description of a car that we all have to guess eg. I was first developed in Europe in 2005 and have since become a popular model for those fortunate to be able to afford me. Weighing in at 3200pounds I am powered by a 4.7 litre V8 engine producing 490BHp @ 8500rpm and am capable of reaching 62mph in 4 seconds. Producing 343 lb ft @ 5200rpm and having a top speed of nearly 200mph I am the......?

Ferarri F430 Coupe.
I am not sure how to put a picture on here, because I have tried to copy and paste one, but that doesnt work, so I will just offer a description of the car.
I am very rare, and old-looking. I am built in England, and I have been built there almost unchanged since 1910. I have a potent Land Rover V-8 that produces 188 Horsepower, and 232 pound feet of tourque at 3,000 RPM. Thanks to my lightweight 2250 pound curb weight, I go 0-60 MPH in only 6 seconds, and I have a top speed of over 125 MPH. My new brother is the "Areo 8" model. What make and model of car am I?
I will try to post an attachment with the picture of this car, but I dont know if that will work either. I hope it does.
Happy guessing my rare breed of automobile guys!-Drummerdude:cool:

To post a picture, click on the small yellow box in the little toolbar which allows you to change your text format etc. It has a picture of mountains on it. You should then see a little box which prompts you to enter the URL of your pic. As for posting a pic from your own PC, maybe someone can let us know becuase I have not posted a pic from my PC before.

The car you refer to is, I believe the Morgan Plus 8. The figures I have for it are slightly different from those given but are pretty close.
Here is another:
Born in 1972 as as a two-seater coupe, I enjoyed a successful but short life on the world scene. Boasting a mid-located V6 engine, capable of producing 190bhp @ 7000rpm and a top speed of 140mph I achieved spectacular success on the racing scene for several years. Distinctive and dartlike in appearance, I weigh in at a measly 870kg, and, when awoken from standstill, I can eclipse the 0-62mph mark in under six seconds. You are correct on my car, it is the Morgan Plus 8! I think including the "Areo 8" model name gave it away!
My guess on your car is the 1972-1980's Lancia Stratos Coupe. There were only 492 total cars made, and in the racing version, the engine was supercharged to 280 HP.

I am going to make an educated guess and say the Porsche 356 Speedster. The "Speedster" version of the 356 Cabriolet was only made from 1954-1957, and it was a rear-wheel drive car that would probably have been very fast and desireable in the 1950's. I cant find any engine or performance stats, so I may be wrong on this one, but it is the closest car I could find that matched your description. If I am wrong, you can tell me the correct answer, because I dont want to try to guess again, and please post another car, or, if you want to, you could just post a pic of a very rare car with no stats about the car, just the pic. That would make it hard to guess with no stats to look up in my car books. I am by no means a car expert, I just love automobiles and read a few car magazines, but I do want to take an auto mechanic's class and writing classes in college, so that I can eventually become an automotive writer for a US car magazine, such as Motor Trend, or Car and Driver, or Road and Track. I will not post a pic right now, I will wait for you to post one Mr. Aussie!

They are all Ferarri Supercars. From botom to top, here they are: 2003 Enzo, 1995 F50, 1987 F40, and 1984 GTO. I personally would take any one of them if you gave me one for free!

This is definately a tough one! I confess I had to delve quite deeply into my big car book to try to find possibilities. While I am not 100% sure I will make a somewhat confident guess at the 1951 Ferrari 340 America Touring Berlinetta. There were in fact only two built which means whoever owns the one in that picture is probably a very rich - and happy - person. :D
As for the pictured Ferarri's, yes, I'd happily take any of them. It would be a tough choice. The 288 GTO is the rarest and arguably the coolest. The Enzo is the fastest and the safest and the F40 is probably one of the best cars of all time. As for the F50, I reckon its ugly and nothing overly special. If I had to choose it would be be either the F40 or the Enzo. Jeremy Clarkson is quoted as saying that driving the Enzo is not all that fun because everything you do has to go through a sort of electronic committie. He poses the analogy of whether you would you rather drive a go-cart with traction control (ie. the Enzo) or the V8 powered go-cart with two turbos bolted on the back (the F40).
EDIT: It might not actually be the 1951 model because the one pictured does not have blinkers below the headlights whereas the '51 model does. So in actual fact it could be the 1950 340 America Sports Racer or just the '51 or '52 model without blinkers at the front or the side.

Vey close-it is actually the 1948 Ferarri 166 Inter Coupe, which, I believe, was Ferarri's first road car. All previous Ferarri's before that were just race cars. I wonder what "Inter" means, is it short for "International," or what? The "166" must have something to do with the engine, I guess. It is a nice looking car. OK, it is your turn to post a pic, Aussie!

I know the make of your blue hatchback is an Opel, and if i am correct, it is the Astra model, but I am not 100% sure, as there are no Opels in the U.S. where I live. I have seen a sport version of the Opel Astra sedan in one of my U.S. car mags, when they went to the Geneva Auto Show a while back, and the body styling of that sedan was very similar to the hatchback you pictured, so I am assuming they are the same car.

I knew that car was some sort of Opel or Holden or Vaxhaul, because the the U.S. divisions of GM are taking many vehicles that they sell overseas, and putting different U.S. make badges on them, and there's some Saturn or some GM car that looks almost exactly like the Opel Astra, becasue I saw it in one of my car mags a few years ago, because they had a pic of the Opel Astra, and the U.S. only car that was based on the Opel, and they looked very similar! Pontiac, a brand that I think is only sold in America and Canada, introduced a new GTO muscle car in 2003 that is based on the Holden Monaro Coupe. In Australila, it may look very sporty, but in America, mundane compact cars seriously have more style than that car! It's U.S. sales never really took off, and they now have nearly $8,000 in rebates to clear the GTO's off the lots. The bland GTO, which has a 350 HP Corvette engine, starts (Before incintives) at around $33-$34,000, while the all new 300 HP Ford Mustang, with slightly better performance (Due to it's better areodynamics and lighter weight than the GTO), and way better styling, starts at just $26,000. Obviously, U.S. consumers want thier new muscle cars to actually look sporty, not look like some oversized economy car! Pontiac is now dropping the GTO for the 2007 model year, and the earliest it would be replaced is in 2009-2010, when the new Chevy Camaro is supposed to be released. The new Camaro, I have heard, is also being based on a Holden model. I think it is ridiculous that they even tried to sell it here! Anyway, enough of that-here's my new pic:

True. I am not a big fan of the new Monaro. The older one is fantastic however. A real muscle car.
As for the picture, is it the Cadillac Escalade 4WD Sport Utility? I am not an expert on American cars by any means, and my only clue came in the small Cadillac badge I recognised on the back.
What about this one?

My guess is a Jaguar 2.4 MkI 1958.

The Jaguar Mk1 is correct. It truly is a stunning car. The picture I posted simply doesn't do it justice to be honest.
As for the one you posted I had to delve quite deeply in my car book. My initial reaction was that it is of British heritage, from an up-market car maker and is post-war, probably 50's. I will hazard a educated guess from my book at the Bentley Continental. It is obviously the convertible model but I am not sure of the year model because they were made from 1952 to 1959.

And you were very close with your guess. The car pictured is the 1960-1963 Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato. It created 285bhp from only a six-cylinder engine and had a top speed of over 150mph. There was an awesome variant made with a unique body shape (0188/L) that looked even better than this stunning model. I wish I could scan the one I am looking in but can't right now. This accident happened in Perth, a city in Aussie3rdDayFan's home country (Austraillia, of course! ) This car was only a few days old when the owner was distracted by his cellphone (And probably driving a little too fast with all the city traffic), and rear-ended a Honda CRV that stopped at a red light.

That is a very old Lambo, from the symbol on the front. Let me go get one of my huge car books....It says it is a 1963 Lamborghini 350 GTV, the first automobile ever built by Ferruccio Lamborghini. It is a beautifull old car, but I think the best looking Lambo ever is the Muria, which was built a few years after the 350 GTV.
And yes, the Ferrari 612 "Spagetti," as I always mispronounce it, is very ugly! I do wonder why Ferrari even builds this car-it's slower, and has worse handling than the F430, and the F430 is almost $100,000 cheaper, so if people want a fun fast car, they will likely buy the better styled, and faster F430. If I had the money, I sure would!

Your car is the 2005-2006 Mercedes Benz CLK DTM Race Car. They also made about 200 (I think it was 200, could be more/less!) road legal versions that went 0-62 MPH in under 4 seconds, and went nearly 200 MPH, without the limiter. But, like all the German automakers, they limited the top speed electronicallly to 155 MPH.:( Why do the Germans do that anyway? Limiting the top speed on a sports car is just stupid, becasuse the point of a sports car/supercar is to be faster than any other sports car/supercar!
On the Hummer H3, yes, it is very UGLY!! Hummers are also selling very poorly in the U. S. now, because everyone that wanted one already has one, and gasoline is now $3-$5 per gallon in most areas of the country. The Hummer H2 was seling at $55,000 when it first debuted, but now you can get a brand new one for only $45,000! The main reason that thier sales have dropped off is that the H2 only gets 10 MPG on the highway, and even worse in the city. Now GM (Which owns the Hummer brand) is dropping the overpriced (At over 100,000, it's very overpriced), poorly selling (They've only sold about 12,000 H1's in the 15 years it's been on sale.) H1 model, which is the original civilian version of the millitary's HUMVEE's.

You are close. My dad's hometown of Auburn, Indiana was known for a car company that manufactured three makes of cars: Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg. This isn't a Duesenberg. This make of car, but perhaps not this model, was featured in the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom when the Asian kid Short Round drove a white version near the beginning of the movie.

Aussie, your car, which looks like a race car chassis, with no body panels, is the Wrightspeed X1! I recently saw a really cool video of the Wrightspeed X1 beating a Ferarri and Porsche, and, even though it has a small electric engine, due to it's light weight, it wins the race!
Here's the link:http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/05/05/video-electric-car-races-ferrari-porsche-and-wins/
Hint: This very luxurious and powerfull car starts at $66,000 in the U.S., and it is supposedly being cut out of production for Model Year 2007. What Car Am I?

The car I posted is not the Wrightspeed X1. I am thinking that either that video is confused or the picture I posted (when I googled the car) is wrong. I do not think it is however because the badge on the front of the car is very clear.
After doing a bit of searching while I was typing this, I was surprised Wright hasn't been sued yet. The differences in his car vs the one I posted is, to be honest, almost a straight copy. I don't know how he can get away with it. Perhaps he bought the rights or something and just chucked a electric motor in it.

I am still thinking about this. Without knowing if it German built I cannot answer - especialy with that view. It could be VW. It definately isn't a BMW or Merc. All of these are German built, and the VW seems logical.
I will take a somewhat confident guess at the 2006 VW Phaeton after checking out the VW range on their website.
Here is a better picture of what I think it is anyway:
http://www.ritilan.com/archives/images/blogimages/phaeton.jpg
The car comes with the choice of either a 335bhp V8 or the ballistic W12 which pumps out 420bhp. That's more than just about any Porsche 911 - Turbo included - a BMW M3, and the Ferrari 360 Spider. Crazy.

BTW Drummer, you SO flogged the image you posted off the VW website. It's really small, so no wonder it is such bad quality.

Here’s all the hints I can give you without telling you the make and model of the car:
This car’s platform is shared with the Bentley Continental GT and Bentley Continental Flying Spur. These similarities become apparent when looking it’s leather lined interior which shares certain design elements with its ultra-luxury cousins. In Dresden, Germany, the car is hand-assembled in a distinctive factory with a glass exterior, the Gläserne Manufaktur. The Chancellor of Germany, the Prime Minster of Portugal, and North Korean Leader Kim Jong-Il are all chauffeured in one of these cars.
This particular car has not sold well since entering the United States in 2004. 1,433 were sold in 2004 after it’s manufacturer responded to initial sales by offering a US$10,000 buyer incentive. Just 820 were sold in the United States in all of 2005, leading the company to announce that sales in the American market would end after the 2006 model year. Customers have been slow to accept a luxury car from this marque, and most people have never even heard of the car, despite constant tv advertisements for it. This luxury sedan is priced at $66,700 USD for the V8 version, and the V-12 version is priced at $96,700 USD.

Hmmm. I don't mind VW. They are a German company and for that reason, make cars ver, very well. To my mind, the Germans do it better than anyone else. Period. That said, if you were looking for a luxary car I would not choose a VW. They are well made, and there is nothing wrong with them BUT an Audi is a class above (and also German) and BMW and Merccedes are a class above that. One simply cannot compete with BMW and Mercedes.

I am not good at all at older cars, so I am probably wrong about the model, but I know that couldnt be anything but a Rolls-Royce!
BTW: on that Daewoo, I forgot that it was originally a Daewoo. The Japeneese company Suzuki rebadged it and put thier own grille on it, and they sell it in the U.S. as the "Veyrona" The styling is the only good thing about it, the rest of the car is crap, cuz, as Aussie pointed out, the Korean automakers really dont know that much about building good cars, they just build poor or average ones.

However, people in California have little or no taste, so that car probably is very popular, b/c Californians like strange things that the rest of the world dislikes. It kind of looks like an old Amphicar-a car built in the 1950's that could be driven like a boat on the water, and also driven on roads like a regular car, but I dont think that is what it is. Actually, I am predujiced against all Korean AND Japenese cars. Japenese cars are better that Korean cars true, but they have NOTHING on European cars. Volvo have improved their game in styling in recent years. The current range is, to me, quite stylish. They actually have round corners as opposed to looking like a brick with wheels. Today, Volvo's have a touch a class about them.

I should point out that I am not against ALL Japanese cars. Take Honda for example. The Accord is a well-made and stylish car. It is cheaper than Euro cars and is therefore more popular here in Auz. That said, given the choice, I would still take a Euro car. Subaru are the same (except for the WRX). The Liberty range is fantastic and would consider buying one if I had the option. The same goes for the Forester. It is one of the best 4WD's on the road. If a car is well-engineered I like it, but if not, there is no reason to even consider buying it.

A MURDER? Are you like a CSI? I am assuming you are an investigator. Do you work for the FBI, or just the state?
Crime Scene Investigator, yes, we call them SOCOs - Scenes of Crime Officers - in the UK, although we are changing our name to CSI in the near future, more members of public know what a CSI is. I work for Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
she cant say. Its classified information
The delay in replying was because I was at a scene.
ROFL - some of what I may do is classified (very rare cases), but what my job is and the everyday goings on is not.
Is that a joke, or did she really tell you guys that, cuz I have never heard that, and is HotWireD a she, or a he?
LOL - some of the police officers like to say "If I tell you, I'll have to kill you", but that is (usually) a joke.
My name is David (which I hope is a boys name, unless my mother is unusually cruel (which she is not)).
See you Folks later, I will try to identify the next car when I get back to a usual state.

Thought I would post this car mainly for its performance spec's!
The Metro 6r4
The FISA ruled that Group B rally cars were simply too fast, and therefore dangerous to drive, and as a result, banned them from competition.
Engine: 2991cc, Bore: 92mm, Stroke: 75mm
DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, toothed belt camshaft drive
12:1, Lucas mapped electronic fuel injection
Longways/mid mounted, 6 cylinders in 90 deg, V, dry liners, 4 main bearings, water cooled
410bhp at 9000rpm, Maximum torque: 270lb ft at 6500rpm
0-30 mph 1.2 seconds
0-40 mph 1.7 seconds
0-60 mph 3.2 seconds
The engine design was sold to TWR (Tom Walkenshaw Racing) and after some development work on the cambelts and plenums, the engine would make a re-appearance; initially in 3.5-litre form in the Group C Jaguar racing cars, but then in the back of the sensational 217mph Jaguar XJ220.
Imagine pottering down to the shops in this and waiting for the traffic lights to change...

It would be great to pull up to thr lights in that car - as Hotwire says - and see the arrogant smirks on some Corvette owners face. Floor it; and they won't be laughing anymore.

Dear Mr Drummer Dude,
I am writing this post to inform you that I have consulted with solicitors and they think I have a good case for compensation due to hair loss caused by your posting of said pictures of what is obviously an imaginary car (which explains the blurred pictures).
I have looked at every picture found by Google of a 'white suv' (2,910 pics).
I have looked at every picture found by Google of a 'white crew cab' (803 pics).
I have looked at every picture found by Google of a 'suv' ('about' 346,000 pics).
I have looked at every picture found by Google of a 'crew cab' ('about' 23,000 pics).
I have also tried the Altavista search engine, but could not face the same endless thumbnails of every SUV and Crew cab vehicle in existence (except, of course, the one I am looking for).
I have searched the eBay site in the hope that maybe there was a similar vehicle for sale there - the United Kingdon AND United States of America sites - none there.
My doctor states that I have contracted Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in my mouse clicking finger from clicking on the 'next' button in too many search engine and car manufacturer sites too many times in over 48 hours.
I have been advised not to drive for a week in case I spot a vehicle with similar wheel arches, rear profile or radiator grill and swerve off the road in a desperate attempt to identify said vehicle.
I saw one! - in a dream, unfortunately someone had stolen all the badges and identifying features off it and it turned into a featureless blob of plastic as I walked towards it.
No, seriously, More info please...:D

Well, since HotWireD looked at 372,713 pictures (He is really dedicated to getting this right!:D ), and still couldnt figure it out, I will jsut tell you the answer: My SUV is the almost unheard of Lamborghini LM004 SUV. The LM004 was made from 1983-1990, and had a top speed of 200 kph (125 mph), and it's acceleration was 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 8.5 sec. This was a very rare SUV with only a few hundred ever made, and there have been concepts and computer-generated photos of a supposed upcoming Lambo SUV, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
For more info on the LM004, you can check out this website: http://www.lamborghiniregistry.c om/LM002/LM004/
Also, it's HotWireD's turn to post a picture! We can wait untill his eyes get over looking at 372,713 pictures of cars, though!:D

You're not supposed to tell us!!! :(
I reckon that I can claim a victory however. 5 minutes after I posted the above reply, I decided to do one last vain search in Google - for V12 SUV; guess what I found?!
http://www.lamborghiniregistry.c om/LM002/KLA12143front.jpg
and this:
http://www.damox.com/cars/thumbs/Lamborghini/Lamborghini_LM002_offroad .jpg
and this:
http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.lamborghiniregistry.c om/LM002/LM004/LM004c.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.lamborghiniregistry.c om/LM002/LM004/&h=213&w=320&sz=103&tbnid=VXHhZUzUfaKGYM:&tbnh=75&tbnw=113&hl=en&start=3&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dv12%2Bsuv%26 svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr %3D%26rls%3DGGLD,GGLD:200 5-08,GGLD:en%26sa%3DN
I knew what it wasn't: a Merc, BMW, etc. And it was old. Probably 80's or early 90's; but the design rang no bells whatsoever. It did look powerful though, meaning it would require a big engine; hence the V12 search. Had Drummer not been online when I searched this I would have had it. I guess I must have found it the same time he was posting his reply.
It's nearly midnight, so I should probably get some sleep. If I had good reception on SBS I could be watching the soccer right now, but no, I had to have crappy reception.  :(

Ha! - this one will take more than 18 minutes...
PERFORMANCE
All-aluminium V-10 engine is unusually light and compact. Specific output of one horsepower per pound of weight sets a new benchmark for class.
Power output of 525 bhp increases further at very high speed due to aerodynamically induced supercharging effect. Maximum speed approximately 210 mph.
Excellent traction permits 0-60 mph in approximately 4 secs.
Generous torque, high gearing and low drag ensure pleasing fuel economy. Even our "lead-footed" factory test drivers regularly return over 20 mpg.
6-speed, close ratio manual gearbox allows 60 mph in first gear, 100 mph cruising at 2,450 rpm in 6th.
Engine produces an effortless flow of torque. Even at tickover there is 350 lb.ft (476 Nm) available. Generous peak torque of 525 lb.ft (714 Nm) is achieved at 4,200 rpm.

You could have told me that BEFORE you fixed up your post. Honestly.
Anyway, I will say with honesty that I have not seen this car before. It is obvious that whoever makes it does not have alot of money. The bodywork and general design of the car exibits a level of somewhat poorer quality that most British cars. I might have even suggested it was a kit car but Hotwire says that it is from a company so I guess that theory goes down the drain. Judging by the layout of the car I am going to suggest it is a V8 and rear-wheel driven.

The company produces several cars per year, so are quite exclusive - but the price is quite low compared with the Bristol Lightning, for example, who I assume produce about the same number of vehicles per year.
The price tag is steep but you are probably paying for the uniqueness of the vehicle.
The original prototype was worth over a million pounds - they had to get the design passed by all the vehicle standards agencies and had put a lot into building it.
Considering how obscure they are, and that they only produce a few cars, and that there are no identifying marks on the vehicle, I will tell you what it is.
The manufacturer is Ronart - http://www.ronart.co.uk/
The vehicle is the The Ronart Lightning.

I will leave it on to see if you can get it, otherwise I will post another.

Hi Folks, missed your PM until later Drummer mate.
I like the Zimmer site, although the music gets a tad grating after a while lol.
The car I posted was a Beauford
Beauford are a family run Company with an enviable 12 year history. With over 1000 cars sold and as a founder member of S.T.A.T.U.S. (Specialist Transport Advisory and Testing Utility Society), you can be sure you are dealing with a reputable and professional company.
I feel a little bit of a fraud because they are a kit car company that makes ready made cars. I had not realised that until after I had posted the picture.

Drummer, mate; your standards must be dropping. I know that car on sight. It is the Chrysler 300C. I would normally - ie. always - steer clear of American luxary cars. I have nver liked the design of them. Too big, bulky and overly intimidating. This car however I like. It has class to it. Ambience. Style.
Here is a view of the front:

Yes, we should, cuz Kit Cars are next to impossible, cuz most models are made by several different Kit Car makers, it's impossible to know which is which, cuz all versions of a particular car look virtually the same.
Here's an all-new version of a stylish midsize sedan (This was a fast pic to find cuz I already had it saved for something else, and I am in a hurry. It should be an easy guess.):

I am just popping in, but is it the Toyota Avalon?
It is hard to tell from such a small picture though. The Avalon has rear-lights of very similar design to those in the picture; as well as a similar body shape. The BMW 745i has a similar look but the bodywork is far better produced on it. This car looks mass produced and Japenese. That said, without seeing the front I cannot say for certain. If it is not the Avalon it is the Biemer for sure.

It certianly is a Toyota model, but not the Avalon. This particular model is a midsize family sedan that has been around for a few decades, and a few months ago they released a complete redesign of this very popular Toyota.

In Toyota's defence, while I dislike most of Toyota's cars, the Corolla is a pretty good car. For what you pay for, it is well-made and well-designed. It's not as good as a VW Golf, Renault Clio, Astra or Alfa 147, but there is not alot wrong with it.

There have been not one, but two of theese '07 Lambos crashed on the streets, and the car isnt even for sale yet! Test drivers driving them to press events crashed them. See the picsHERE at Wrecked Exotics (http://www.wreckedexotics.com/special/lp640/). The top pics are of the 2nd wrecked Lambo, and pics of the first crash are at the bottom of the article.

It's rareness is not due to high pricing, or limited production, it's just that it doesnt have the coolness of, say, a Mercedes Benz S65 AMG, or BMW 760i for example. That's all the clues I can give you without giving you the make/model of the car.

Can we try to keep th pics a little bigger. I know many photos often picture a badge and would therefore be a bit of a giveaway, but small pics do not allow you to take in much detail. A good size is 350x250ish or higher. Just find an angle that does not have a badge.
Anyway, while this car is EXTREMELY UGLY, it may serve to get the old noggin working.

I copied/pasted the pic onto my MS Picture Viewer and zoomed in at the symbol, and it looks like a Lamborghini badge on the front, but you said it wasnt a Lambo so I really cant tell what the big blue car is, but it sure looks cool, and goes like lightning! OK, I have absolutely no idea what this car is! More info please?
Clue 1: This car is an all-electric car, not a hybrid, it is run completely by electricity alone.
Clue 2: This car was never avalible for sale, but was only leased or rented to people all over the U.S. This car was only availible in the U.S.
Clue 3: The reason this car lived such a short life was b/c the American automaker that developed and manufactured this technologically advanced vehicle spend about $80,000 USD per car, and the total payments made per car were only $32,000-$34,000, so they were loosing money like crazy, which is why it was killed so early.
Clue 4: This car was not practicall at all, it barely had a trunk, it only seated 2 people, and was very small inside, but it had an estimated cruse range of nearly 800 miles, which appears to be the only thing good about this ugly car.
I cant give yall any more clues than that, or I would be giving the answer away.
Have fun guessing this car, and if yall cant guess it, just post another car, b/c I will be gone from today till Saturday, and I wont be back on here untill Sunday afternoon.

Oh great, Lego now manufactures vehicles! If you crash in one, it will fly apart into a thousand bricks! Not to mention that Lego seats dont have seat belts on them, so you would fly out of the car too! I want to see the Federal Government crash test the Lego automobiles before they hit the streets! But I do know exacly what to compare the new Lego car to-the Scion XB, and the Honda Element, they are both very boxy!:D

Yeah, I'm pretty much an auto nut, particularly when it comes to jeeps, especially older ones. HotWired did an outstanding job, missing it by only a year. It is a 1947 CJ2A (most '46s were column shift) that I have been restoring with my dad for about the past 3 years now. That pic was the original, when we found it. Here's the current stage of restoration:

My car is the very rare and ugly General Motors EV1. I think that is the hardest car we have ever seen here! Here's my car:
I would have thought this one to be easyish. But it's not. I agree with Hotwire that it looks Asian but it has a hint of European styling to it. I checked Lexus' website, as well as Nissan's, Toyota's and Nissan's. No joy. It could be an older Lexus ES300 but probably not. Any clues Sir Drummer?

This is an all new car this year, made by a manufacturer that is mostly known for thier cheap compact cars with a very long waranty. Here is some performance info from a car magazine's recent test of this car:
"Our test car posted a swift 7.2-second 0-60-mph time and a 15.5-second quarter-mile, right in line with the numbers we've gotten out of the Toyota Avalon, which has a 268-hp, 3.5-liter V6. Interestingly, the _______ is also a half-second quicker to 60 than a V8-equipped Buick Lucerne, which we tested the same day."
If I say any more than that, I will be giving it away.

If it was a free car, I would buy it for sure! (Well, I guess if it is free, then I would be just driving it away, not buying it!:D ) This good looking car has leather, cd player, sunroof, heated seats, premium Bose sound system, and many other luxurious features, and a decent engine. Seriously though, anything's better than my rusted out 1986 Ford F-150 with 99,500+ miles on it! It breaks down allot, so I dont get to drive it much.:(

It is the Hyundai Grandeur. For pure design, it is certainly a level above the norm for 'luxury' asian cars. It would be reasonable alternative to some of the more expensive - but far better - Euro cars. It's capable but it lacks the quality bodywork and interior of a Euro car. Note the differences:

American or Asian?!!!! I'll forget you said that. It is European and built in the late 1930's. I have plenty of other better pictures available, but they all have a dead-giveaway badge on the front bonnet...
Would you like the other pictures posted as the one above really does not do this car justice even in the slightest?
BTW, a mate of mine gave me a call yesterday and it appears Toyota are offering FREE advanced driver training to 360 people in this area. Apparently I get to play with all of Toyota's fancy, new, advanced toys. What that means is that I will get to drive a few of their new cars. Inclusions could be: the Yaris (which I have to admit I am impressed by), the Prius Hybrid and maybe the Camry Hybrid. :D Should be an interesting day. :D

* Rear-wheel drive
* 180bhp @ 3400rpm
* 431 Nm / 318 ft lbs @ 2200 rpm
* Top speed of 170 km/h
* It weighs 2.4 tonnes/ 5291 lbs
* Built 1936-1939
* It is a stunningly beautiful piece of automotive history

Daewoo? No. Fiat? No. I actually like this car after seeing it reviewed on Top Gear. To test if they handled well, several of them were used to play car soccer.

I used to have one of these - it was like a four wheel drive go kart - great fun on the back roads of the fens. Unfortunately, it blew up after a week.
The stable that this car belongs to has some great cars, someone told me that every model they make is a four wheel drive.

Ahh! This one one is easy! My brother's fionce owns a late-80's Suburu Forester 4WD GL Wagon. The car above is however the 1989 Subaru Justy 4WD. Sorry, I guess that was a bit of an unfair head-start.

Yep, my car was the Range Rover Sport. This car apparnetly handles well off-road as well as it was demonstrated that it could out-manouver a tank. Check it out here: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/175380/top_gear_range_rover_vs_t ank/
I will look at the car you have posted when I get some free time. My first glance tells me its American.
BTW, the Audi I posted earlier was the Audi RS4 so you you were pretty close! :D
Anyway, this morning I went out to Oran Park Raceway and participated in an advanced driver training course sponsored by Toyota. We had a bit of a chat about various things such as seating position, where and where not hold the wheel and why, where to look (including being informed that there is no such thing as a blind spot), and also how to be a pro-active rather than re-active driver. After that we were taken around the skid-pan course with an instructor and given a few tips of where to look and aim the car - these go hand in hand. Finally, we got to take cars out ourselves. :D We each had 2 laps in several seperate cars from Toyota's current line-up. I had the opportunity to drive the Yarris sedan which was quite good, the Camry, which is an old person car, but was quite enjoyable to drive, and finally the Kluger 4WD. I took each of these cars through the S-gates at around 50km/h which was an awesome experience. The idea was to look not at the cone in front of you but the cone gate further up. That way you are looking - and aiming - the car in advance. Each car was a little different. It was also intended that when we went though each gate we had to maintain our speed - otherwise the cars would lose rear-end grip. I think I did reasonably well. On my final gate in the Camry I intentionally lifted off so I could see the difference. It was definately noticeable as I felt a slight loss of grip at the back end of the car. It was fun, so if you ever get the chance, go and do an advanced driving course. Now, off to get my CAMS licence...

Cool video Aussie! Awesome 4X4 as well! Yes, my car is American made, and it was the first vehicle to have a guage cluster mounted in the middle of the dashboard instead of right on top of the steering wheel.
Here's an interesting quiz that us car freaks might like: Which Sports Car Are You? Quiz (http://www.tomorrowland.us/sportscar/) Apparently, based on my answers, I am a Lotus Elise. The caption said: "You believe in maximum performance and minimum baggage. You like to travel light and fast, hit the corners hard, and dance like there's no tomorrow."

That's pretty cool. I am aparently either the Lamborghini Murcielago or the Chevrolet Corvette:
Lambo: You're not subtle, but you don't want to be. Fast, loud, and dramatic, you want people to notice you, and then get out of the way. In a world full of sheep, you're a raging bull.
Corvette: You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do.
The result depended on one question which I was tossing up between. I like both answers. I'm probably more of the Corvette most of the time but like the Lambo on occasion. I think I will post this link in the Zone. :D
BTW, I will try to work out your car this weekend.

I suggest you refine your sources Matthew. Otherwise you'll be searching forever. The way I found th above car was to complie a list of American car manufacturers. I did a quick search in Google and came up with a list of 10+ makers. All that is then needed is to search something like 'red cadillac' or 'red saturn'. Now, since I did not recognise the badge on the front of Drummer's car I simply searched the lesser known American cars first. eg. Scion came up dry but Saturn didn't. :D Hope this helps. :D

Aussie, I know your car is the Jaguar supercar made about 15 yrs ago, but I am not sure about the specific model name. I believe XJ220 is the model, I get the letters/numbers mixed up on cars sometimes, since almost every manufacturer uses different combos of letters/numbers. What ever happened to using actual names or words as car model names, instead of making up confusing computer codes to name your vehicles?

Yep, this is the Jaguar XJ220, but its not the original model. It is in fact the XJ220 TWR. Modified by Tom Walkinshaw Racing this car is absolute missile. With a twin-turbo V6 it produced 680bhp and 714nm of torque! It weiged just over a tonne and could catapult from 0-100km/h in 3.3 seconds. Top speed was nearly 370km/h. Not bad for a car built in 1994! :D
