Got to go to work now. I'll be up all night, will be praying.

I'm going to wait until we move. A change of scenery, lifestyle and pace will be good for me. This is the first Christmas without Nana. She loved the holidays so much, but it was hard to watch her get older. Last Thanksgiving, she didn't even cook.

Thanksgiving was hard, Christmas and New Year's will be harder. This past New Year's Eve was the most beautiful and special time I've ever spent with her. Sadly, I was the only one to ring in the New Year with her, but it was more special to me than anything. I've never been more grateful for leaving church and going to see her.

Every Christmas Eve, we used to all go to her house, the entire family *which is huge* except the ones who don't live in AZ. We'd all stay up till midnight, dancing, singing, eating...just like the Mexicans we are. Its hard to think that I will never have that again. She made Christmas special for me.

I hope that explains why I've been so bah humbug about this Christmas thing this year. And sorry for the life story...
