The race was tonight and your wishes were wasted. It was a crappy night for my boys. I mean, not so bad as it could have been. Tony finished 11th after getting *UNFAIRLY* caught for speeding on pit road *it really wasn't his fault* and Greg finished 7th and I'm not really sure why. Tony had an AMAZING car and led quite a few laps and for most of the race was the fastest car out there. I'm just quite frustrated.

This is hard advice, and you may hate me for it, but here goes: Quit waiting for somebody else to make you happy. Making yourself happy is usually easier, and the results last a lot longer. I love you. Merry Christmas.

Hey, medical intervention can be a lifesaver -- literally. Was for me; a cocktail of cymbalta and wellbutrin plus talk therapy. I might be a touch wacko, but at least I'm not suicidal. Oh, it just occured to me, here I am talking about head therapy, where else but on The Couch?? Laugh, that's funny.

I quit taking it. Therapy made my problems worse, or rather she tried to blame it all on my family. I was like uhhh my mom raised three kids for over ten years on her own, I understand she was stressed, mean, crazy, and even a little depressed at times.

It doesn't help matters that I have a freakin anxiety disorder. I am glad to say I'm not suicidal, but I have been pretty severely depressed since my Nana died. It seems to be going beyond grief.

Don't give up. There are good therapists and bad therapists. And not all meds work well on everybody. And here it is, almost Christmas, that always makes it harder. Do you have a good source of spiritual guidance? Somebody to pray with? At least somebody to confide in? I've been where you are, and I'm not there anymore. Hang on, it's not always going to be like this. Promise.
