Poor thing, Sam was so cool. I looked at one of the links posted in the original post, and among the pictures of the site was a cat that had a striking resemblence to the dog. :(

Inbreeding has some unfortunate results.

Others (pit bulls, etc.) behavioral, etc. God created dogs in general. It was we (humanity in general) who perverted them into these poor creatures. It's hard not to feel sorry for pomeranians and the like, as obnoxious as they are - people actually made them that way. Still doesn't dampen the desire to drop kick them though ;)

I love animals, that is so sad to see a dog that looks like he was rotting his whole life. Maybe it was good he died. It's no fun to have to suffer because you are ugly.

Ankle-biting dogs may as well be cats. I don't really want anything smaller than a lab - should be able to pet the thing without bending over :) If I get a pet in the future, it'll probably be a Great Dane - my grandpa's had them for years, and we had one when I was a kid. I like that breed.

Great Dane's are cool... but they aren't really into outdoors and water, and actually make better indoor dogs, despite their size. Newfoundlands and labs are the larger outdoor dogs who have a good temperment and love to swim. That's why I like them.
