Can you or any other 3rd day fans answer this question...

This isn’t a “biggie” and it’s not really all that important to be honest but it’s still a question for the veteran 3D fans from a newer (but really lovin’ 3D :D ) fan….

Do you know what denomination any or all of the band members are from? Between my friends and I, we hit every point of the denominational scale, and we all have our guesses, but it’s time to tell the tale… Anyone know what church (or churches) these fellas attend?

I think some of them come from Baptist backgrounds and maybe still are active Baptists. But they really try to stress that they are not about devotion to a denomination, but devotion to, and being filled with the love of Christ. That is essentially what the entire album "Come together" is all about.

They're from a variety of different denominations, from Baptist to Vineyard. Differences such as that are not intended to be the focus; they all (as do the rest of us) love Jesus. As Kyle's Dad said, we all ought to Come Together regardless of denomination. :)

I remember reading something (it was derogatory and was attacking all Christian musicians and many others, such as CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, and even Billy Graham) about them being from many denominations. I was watching The Offerings Experience when my dad was working on the computer, and he said that it sounded like Mac came from a Pentecostal background. I don't know for sure, though. From what I remember about that way-off article, Mac was the only one who didn't say what denomination he's from.
