I'm just guessing, because I haven't had time to watch the movie. What about 8?

Aussie3rddayfan

Eight is correct.

It also seems the ones that escaped have joined the Bitish police force. The regular police are none to pleased however.

WOW! I finally guessed it. Where did you get those pictures and could you explain the story behind them? :)

Ok, here's another question. I'm starting to run out of them.

Lets see if you can answer this one without looking it up at all. :)

What is the name of Darth Vader's Super Star Destoyer?

Aussie3rddayfan
11-27-2006, 02:54 AM
That one was a little too easy. It was called the Executor.

I found the stormtropper pictures with a simple google search. Just type in 'stormtrooper' and you will find them about five/six pages in.

Well, many people have asked questions from the EU so far so I will too.

Who is Rukh and what is famous for?

Try Googling it. You will find an entry for Rukh in the the databank on the Star Wars website too...

All I could find is that "the Noghri's killing of a hated enemy made him a legend."

Is that what you were looking for?

Aussie3rddayfan
12-14-2006, 07:20 PM
http://www.starwars.com/databank/character/rukh/index.html

Five years after the Battle of Endor, the last of the Empire's Grand Admiral's waged a war against the New Republic. As brilliant tactician and with a fleet of lost warships at his command Thrawn nearly managed to bring the New Republic to its knees. Rukh, a trained Noghri assasin, was the Grand Admiral's bodyguard. When he discovered the Empire's treachery against his people, he assassinated Grand Admiral Thrawn as payback.

"For the treachery of the Empire against the Noghri people," Rukh's voice said quitely from beside him as he gasped for breath. "We were betrayed. We have been revenged."

There was a whisper of movement, and he was gone.

-- The Last Command, Timothy Zahn.

If you like Star Wars I would encourage you to read this trilogy. Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command. It is exceptionally well written and has an intriging, captivating storyline and is well worth a read even though you now know how it all ends.

Yeah that is what I read. Like I said, I have no idea about any EU stuff. I have never read any of the books. They sound pretty interesting though.

Ok, I'm running out of questions. Ummm...

In the very first filming of A New Hope, What medical or bathroom product was used in the movie, and what was it used for?

I dont know if this has neen asked b4 but what is the name of Lando Calrissian's ship?

The Lady Luck is Lando's official ship from the Extended Universe series of novels. Originally though, he owned the Millenium Falcon until Han Solo won it in a game of Sabacc. He wasn't pleased for some reason...

What is thename of the race of aliens who invade the galaxy in the New Jedi Order series of novels? What is unique about this species?

lilmikey
12-30-2006, 12:41 PM
The Yuuzhan Vong and I dont know what is unique about them for sure. I think they are the first SW Characters to believe in gods and have their own religion outside of the force.

Aussie3rddayfan
12-30-2006, 06:44 PM
The Yuuzhan Vong is correct. There are also several things that make them unique: 1) they come from ouside the known galaxy 2) They use living organisms/creatures for all their technolody and 3) they exist outside the Force

What did Qui-Gon give Obi-Wan for his 13th birthday?

Aussie3rddayfan

Lightsaber would be an obvious answer but I have always understood that apprentices had to build their own as part of their training. If that is incorrect I would guess something like Jedi Robes?

I believe it was a river rock that Qui-Gon found by a river on his home planet. The river of light if I am not mistaken.

What are the names of the three Beasts that are used at the execution of Obi-Wan, Padme and Anakin in Episode II: Attack of the Clones?

I had forgotten this thread. Does it have something to do with the release date? Or was it not directed by GL?

The movie was not shown a Grauman's chinese theater because of it being a digital picture. All the other's before that had been opened there.

Next question!

From the book series: Who was Luke Skywalkers first "love"?

(I know this shouldn't count, but i found this on the star wars web site about a year ago... It's also mentioned in a couple of the novels.)

There was a woman in the book called The Truce at Bakura called Gariel Catsption or something similar.

actually it was Callista, a jedi from the old republic times that was trapped inside a supercomputer-type machine by Darth Sideous, then Luke freed her using the body of one of his student that had chosen to willing give up her body...

What dialoge led up to Hans discovery that Luke and Leia were siblings?

It depends on how you look at it. Luke had a crush on Gaerial in the events portrayed in The Truce at Bakura. This book is set after Return of the Jedi with its events taking place mere days after Vader death and the Death Star's destruction. It is not until the post-Thrawn era (5years later) that Callista comes along. And then of course he married Mara Jade.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Gaeriel_Captison

In answer to your newer question however, I think Han says something along the lines of: "When he comes back, I won't get in the way." To which Leia replies: "Oh, it's not like that at all."

Think about it, when did Anakin actually become Darth Vader?? ;)

One could argue that Anakin becomes Darth Vader in the Chancellor's Office once Master Windu is killed. He pledges himself to Siddious in order to save his wife from "certain death." While technically true, 99.9% of people associate Darth Vader with the costume so the question is deceptivly tricky. In answer to your question, the answer is none. An appendage, as far as I know is an extension to the body of some sort (like Luke's bio-mechanical arm). Since the only loss of limb Anakin suffers before this event is his original right arm I believe the answer in zero.

BTW, for the record I think the storyline for Episode 3 and the scene involving Anakin and Siddious after Windu's demise is incredibly poor. George Lucas should be ashamed of himself. Woeful.

seeker
02-04-2007, 01:49 PM
Maybe I should have said limbs, but an appendage can be anything from a finger to an actual limb. Anakin technically becomes Darth Vader when he pledges himself to Palp.

After watching the movie a couple of times, I understand why Lucas chose to do the things he did in that scene. Do I think it could have been executed better? Yes. Does it work? IMO yes.

Your turn.

If outer-rim worlds wanted to seperate from the republic, why take the time to actually conduct the Outer-Rim Seiges?

Because if enough Outer Rim worlds left the republic, they could join forces to overtake the republic. Also, I believe they were to help Outer Rim worlds that were neutral stay that way and also to root out General Grievous.
