I saw each thing they do today on a poster in a Christian book store. It really hit my heart and made me want to cry. Its just aweful! How can anyone, and I mean anyone, in their right mind, do something like that?

The sad thing is, acts like these are all too human. Human beings are fallen and slaves to their sinful nature until they are born again of the Spirit of God.

Yeah I know what you mean that it really seems not human, but people are told so many lies now, about 'it' not really being a person, that 'it' is only tissue etc... their lives are held up as more important than anything else - it makes it easy for people to do it, but not always easy afterwards as many do realise what they have done... :)

Just read the testimonies of abortion survivors. Do a search in Google. There are several survivors of abortions who were 2 pounds or less, and are now adults. Some of them have deformaties as a direct result of the abortion. Some of them are blind because the salt/saline solution used to kill them burned their little eyes out of their sockets. These are people. These are human beings.

Anyone who says otherwise should have to sit down with an abortion survivor and tell her that she was a botched abortion and should have been terminated, but things went wrong. They should have to tell her, "The doctors should have used more salt, and they should have let it sit on (and in) your body longer, making sure it burned your lungs and the rest of your organs. They should have reached in with an instrument and crushed your skull. I mean, the procedure would have been more successful if they would have really killed you by vacuuming off your limbs or cutting you to pieces; and just think... you wouldn't have to suffer the way you are now."

Please accept my apology, I misread the first post and thought it was merely about abortion - not Partial Birth Abortion.... I'm really not sure how anyone can have that type of abortion without realising that the baby is a baby - my comments were about early abortion when the baby is not recognisable as one...

Abortion is a horrific form of abuse....

I still believe however, that as Christians we need to be careful not to expect non-Christians to have the same values as us - and also not to be judgemental to them when they don't behave how we think they should. :)
