Has anyone else been really concerned with the events in South Africa over the last number of years. This is the latest in a long line

Using Zimbabwe as an example to follow is really going to help matters

Land-ownership reform is one thing... I have no problem with that...
But for the deputy PM to suggest following Zimbabwe's example? That's an odd idea...

No, but I am the eggman. ;)
I lived in Ghana, West Africa, back when South Africa was still under apartheid, and there were trade embargoes on its exports.
Interesting fact: we used to get tinned fruit from South Africa all the time. How'd it get through customs? "PRODUCT OF MORE THAN ONE COUNTRY" :p

I don't really have anything valuable to add to this thread, but I wanted to say that I just returned from a trip to South Africa/Victoria Falls about a month ago and I absolutely loved it! We spent a day in Joburg, 3 days in Kruger National Park, 4 days in Cape Town, and a day in Vic Falls (Zimbabwe & Zambia). That is beautiful country and I feel very fortunate to have been able to see it, I just hope that I can return again someday with my husband. :)
