Here is the wedding picture thread. We were talking about it in the high school pic thread. We'll be the guinea pigs. Don't laugh too hard at the hair. :D

Devona and I got married at our church. This is before we built a new church so this is taken in what is now the old sanctuary. The new one doesn't have red carpet (yeah!).

Devona and I were 22 when we married, the week after college graduation. I made a promise to her dad we'd wait until graduation. I held on to that promise, even though we didn't wait much longer after grad! :D

We got married on May 25, 1996. My, how time flies!

this was October 23, 1999.
A couple of months after I finished grad school...
And I forgot to eat all day, so they were sneaking me Mountain Dew right before the service so my sugar wouldn't drop, and I wouldn't faint...

Kevin: so if you shaved it off, you'd have to wear a name tag? :p

Actually, it's a moustache with class! (Just in case I ever want to visit Thailand.) :D

Jaci: I never have foot in mouth disease! (It's more a permanent state rather than a temporary disease.) ;)

Maybe cause men were kind of expected to look like that in the 80's (either that or look like a woman). My dad had one just like that, and really curly hair. Now he has no hair, and no moustache. They just bring back many good memories!

I love the 80's, even though I only saw 4 years of it. I dont think we ever really grew out of the 80's until like 1995!

Actually the photographer told us to look serious. I don't know how to look serious because being married to mexicanspud I never get a chance to be. Anyway, we had the second wedding 11 months after the first. Some people wait till their 20 year or 25. I want to do it again!!! I would do it every year if I could. And yes I'd buy a new dress every time.
People should renew their vows whenever they want.!!! It never looses it's meaning.

Doriano - don't feel bad. I spent our last anniversary away from Michael. I had to take care of some legal business "back home" and wasn't back in time to celebrate... It was cool, though - when I got back we played "catch-up"... ;)

I know....but when I scanned it into Paint and tried to post it....it kept saying it was too large, until I got it down to 20% of the original. Any suggestions on making it bigger?

Good morning,

Normally what's too large is the pixel size; if you have too many details it won't fit. If you crop off some around the edges it may be "small" enough to work... ;)

(Beautiful dress, btw. :))

Was a windows .BMP file? If it was, they are much bigger in terms of memory size than .JPG files. You could change the file type.

......or as you did once before......send it to me and I'll fix it for you ;)

Well, we just got a new printer/faxer/scanner....I scanned it this morning and saved it to Paint. Then from there is where I tried to upload it....and kept making it smaller and smaller until it would let me attach it. I'll fiddle with it some more from home....or send it to you tomorrow. :)

Morning Bo Ty. :)

PS - Thankies ;)

I'll fiddle with it some more from home....or send it to you tomorrow. :)If you saved it in Paint, it more than likely saved as .BMP file. You should be to "save as" a .JPG. Then you can work on making it larger again.

PS - Thankies ;)You're welcome.....as always

to you Loons ~ Hello

Margi, the pix may have been scanned at too high a resolution. Should be only 72 dpi (maybe they scanned at 300) and like OB1 said, .jpg format is the best for photos on the web. You might try rescanning it and watch to set the scanner to scan for these settings - it may even have an option to scan for email which should size it automatically. Sorry, I'm not much good with Paint, but at a quick look it does not appear to do any resolution editing.

Yeah, I thought about re-sizing it from the boards, but the resolution wasn't as good. Besides, that pic is the better of the two. It's really the other one that I want larger. I'll fiddle with it tomorrow. Thanks Kevin. :)

Really? How cool is that?!?! CONGRATS!!!!!!!

Doriano - don't feel bad. I spent our last anniversary away from Michael. I had to take care of some legal business "back home" and wasn't back in time to celebrate... It was cool, though - when I got back we played "catch-up"... ;)

So why did she pick your weekend to do that? Couldn't she've put it off another week? (Man, what have you done to her? :D:p;))

"Catch-up" - RIGHT!

Well there is this humongous craft show each fall and she plans around that.

Why doesn't anyone get married in their UPS uniform?
Lovely picture.

Too funny....I didn't want Brian to wear his uniform (I wasn't marrying the Patrol just him...how untrue I have found THAT to be!!) but then I realized that it was his wedding too (go figure huh?) and he could wear what he wanted. It was more complicated than I thought it would be though because that is his dress uniform which has to be "checked" out b/c they don't issue it to every trooper and then he had to get permission to wear it and take his gun b/c we got married out of state. He looked really good though.

And Lori you are gorgeous girlfriend!!

I'll try to find some of my bridemaid pictures...I've been one 9 times...
