What! How can this be... I mean we got the "Messiah" in November the "most popular" president ever, he got selected for the Nobel Prize just weeks after he took office. We were told the guy was gonna save America.

What has happened?

AND he'll be re-elected.. Although I'm not 100% thrilled with Obama's performance, I think he's done a better job than Bush.

Then you would be in the group that likes nObama. But don't you think it's telling that this many would rather have Bush?

I watch the network news all the time and I would never have guessed (based on what I see weekly) that anything more than a scant marginalized few would want Bush back. I can't think of a single thing nObama has done that I like or even think is faithful to his Oath of Office but I sure wouldn't want Bush back. I'd take Clinton over nObama or Bush atleast he told you up front who he was. the other two are just liars.

Not really. Polls change from day to day, because American voters are fickle. And generally speaking, not very well informed.

Disclaimer: I voted against Obama. I say the above not because I am for Bush or against Obama. I'd say the same if 1% or 99% said they are happy with Obama.

He wasn't conservative enough for me either. But I would trade Obama for Bush Sr. in a New York minute.

What has happened?

IMHO, that 44% stat would have been more telling had the article indicated that 44% of those who voted for Obama now would rather have Bush back. But given that it was actually 44% of all voters, and by comparison, at the time of the election when all was said and done, it was 46% of all voters would have rather had the other guy, I would guess that in the scheme of things, Obama is probably not worried all that much about that 2%.

And so far as saving America, when you've got several prior administrations worth of leftover "stuff" to contend with, the odds of actually fixing all those hand-me-down issues in your first year are pretty much slim to none.

Just my two cents...

But then you're assuming that just because someone voted for McCain that they would prefer Bush to Obama. That can't nor should be assumed. I know a lot of people who voted for Bush who voted for Obama. Remeber Bush's approval rating ratings at the time he left office were horrible, at one point something like 25%.

And if he takes that for granted as much as you are, that will just about assure that he won't.

Sometimes I think that's an impossible goal without a true revolution of the kind we had in the 1770's. Ron Paul's presidential campaign was the most Constitution-oriented campaign of any recent candidates I've ever seen, and he was scoffed at, laughed at, trashed, ignored, and unfairly classified as a "loony" by a lot of the MSM. Our United States of America is in a sad state of affairs when we start calling Constitutionalists loonies. Our Founding Fathers would be rolling in their graves.

What sort of recreational chemicals do you use, because I would love to live in the udder state of fantasy that you appear to be in.

Comrade Obama has trashed the Constitution since taking the oath of office.

He bought a car manufacturer... something NOT mandated in the constitution....

He is forcing CEOS to go without pay after they bow to the pressures of his (yes his because he renominated him) economic dictator Bernake... (see Kenneth Lay)

He is mandating healthcare... something not given to the federal Government in the Constitution of the United States, therefore according to the 10th amendment is a States/Person issue.

You see, all of the constitution is valid... Did Bush do warrentless wiretaps... he sure did... warrentless wiretaps, that Herr Obama says are still needed to keep this country secure.

So while you get all cozy with your ignorant view of the President... Understand that he is far more a threat to the constitution than Bush ever was...

What Bush did was aweful no question. The Iraq thing is chief among these. The Bush Bailout was also unConstitutional. The wire-tapping so often called illegal was begun by the Clinton Admin. as damage control for his various multiple extra-marrital affairs. By the way Obama is using that same wiretapping system as we speak. He has not stopped it.

Obama however; takes the cake as Cheewie stated. There is video of Obama trashing the Constitution and many of the SELF-PROCLAIMED Communists Obama has appointed want the Constitution THROWN OUT!!!!!!

Obama=Epic Fail!

It sounds like it's an allusion to something that was said by that fountain of objectivity and reliability, Levi Johnston, who accused her of calling Trig not, "the retard" but "the retarded baby." And even with that, it's a story that he has absolutely no verification of and his accusations are even being dismissed by some of Sara Palin's harshest critics.

I tried really hard to find a credible story on it... but I couldn't... the best I could find were some blogs that aluded to his condition. I couldn't really verify their veracity.

The fact is, Obama is a big fat miserable failure, who makes George Dub look mildly successful, Jesus love knows it, and is looking for ways to dodge the point. The "Messiah" isn't quite the messiah people thought he was, and now the crow is coming home to roost.

I can't say I find this even a little bit worthwhile. It's a poll. Polls are made up of people's opinions. People are often uninformed. People are often stupid. People voted a Gold Glove for a player who only played 80 games at his position. People voted for Adolf Hitler. People vote one way today, and another tomorrow. People answer polls in part because of how the person is presented by the media. Moreover, no politician should do his job according to public opinion.

What is telling is not THAT most people disapprove of his performance but that the media and the libbies are still treating us like EVERYONE jsut loves what nObama is doing.

The point of which to take note is that the polls bear out a totally different picture than what we are being told about nObama's job performance.
