Crowder....although I don't know if they would even consider themselves such. They seem to be making a point by the new album being called "Church Music"
Semantics? Maybe, but I think they're looking to shed the "Christian band" label.

Third Day, Jeremy Camp.
And U2, although there's always some discussion over where they're a "Christian" band or not. ;)

My musical tastes are very very picky and Christian music just does not have what I look for. And aside from that I believe CCM lost something in recent years as it has become more and more mainstream. Some say thats a good thing but as far as I am concerned its not.

It was Newsboys followed closely by Third Day, but now that Newsboys has their new lead singer, Third Day has moved into first place, and the new Newsboys isn't even on the list anymore.
Nothing against Michael Tate, but his voice (though quite good) is about as far away from the style of Peter Furler's voice as possible. And it just doesn't fit with the Newsboys' style at all, in my opinion.
That's like someone trying to replace Mac Powell. His voice is so unique and it really is a huge part of 3D's sound, and it you change that you lose the 3D sound.

like i said... have you heard christian music? that's a nice way of saying you haven't heard all of christian music... so to say you dislike all christian music is at the very least, ill informed.
the ccm is a very small part of "christian music"
music is everywhere.

all music comes from the heart of the Father, Son, and Spirit. God is the source of all creativity and it may only be spoiled. Badness does not exist only spoiled goodness.
All music has some element of Christ in it.
