Wow!

I just got home from the Austin Music Hall. That place is about 1/3 the size I thought it would be!! The floorplan & seating charts on their website made it seem ALOT bigger. Every seat was a good seat. Our 6th row seats were awesome!

Corrine, it was great to finally meet you. :) Melissa it was really nice to meet you as well.

Sarah, I looked for you several times in Sect. A, Row 2, Seat 1. Maybe you moved to a different seat?

Nikki, I didn't know where you were sitting. I couldn't see you in the crowd.

I DID see Shawn Lewis outside when we were waiting in line, so I went over & introduced myself.
AND I saw Scotty standing near the stage when I came in, so I met him as well. :D

Third Day was awesome as usual, although the acoustics in that place could have been better. Glory Revealed was really good as well.
Fewer artists than I expected, but that just meant that Mac got to sing more songs!

Towards the end of the night Third Day disappeared in the darkness & reappeared on a tiny little platform at the back of the seating area for an intimate acoustic set! Unfortunately for me, they were farther away from me then & it was hard to see over people's heads. It was still a cool thing to do though!

We had a great time at the show! :D

What section were you in? I didn't see very many orange shirts tonight! (Actually only 4 - Corrine, Dan, Melissa & MYSELF.)

It was a great show. I was not wearing my Gomer shirt..it has since been retired..but I was up front in the Third Row..section A...nice and close. Loved when they played the Devil went down to Ga...They use to Play Ramblin man back in the day. I brought a friend who had never been to a Third Day concert before...she said she will definatly be back...she loved it. It's not hard to love the band, since they are hometown guys to us. It was a piece of Ga, here in Ga...can't wait till they come back!

I may have seen you when I was looking for Sarah & didn't recognize you, LOL!

My sister-in-law really enjoyed the show, too. She went with me to San Antonio for the Christmas show back in '07 & was more impressed with Jars of Clay. I think she's a much bigger Third Day fan after last night! :D

The Show rocked...The meet and greet was good...reminds me that I need to get wired again...just have not had the extra funds for awhile. I hope they come back to Austin soon...but if not, I don't have a problem with traveling.

Is anyone going to Riverbend Church on the 31st? Looks like a great lineup..but it's up in the air..:)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Nikki

I know what you mean about the funds. The extra $70 for two meet & greet tickets was too steep for me, so I had to settle for just reserved.
They were GREAT seats though, so I'm not complaining. :D

I would LOVE to see Jeremy Camp! His tickets are VERY reasonable, BTW. Alas, it IS on Halloween, so that will not work for me. Maybe next time.

Kelli (EyeHeart3D) said she was going.

Have a great weekend. Fall has FINALLY arrived, the weather should be perfect!

Did anyone see Sarah (Ayfan) at the Music Hall?

She said she would be in Section A, Row 2, Seat 1. I was never able to find her that night & she hasn't responded to my latest PM, 2 days ago.

Nikki, Corrine, Mr. Super, did you meet her that night? She should have been at the meet & greet.

I don't actually know her, but I'm kind of worried because she said she was driving alone from Round Rock & I think she lives alone, as well.

I don't have any other way of contacting her, other than the boards.

Keep her in your prayers...

Thanks,
Rainlily

*embarrassed* :o

I sent you a PM a moment ago. All's good! Just a bit busy:o

Sorry to freak out everyone! I was thinking, "Oh my gosh, what if she got in an accident & never made it to the concert.
What if her family lives far away & nobody knows, etc. etc. "

She had the section wrong & actually met up with Corrine & the gang, but they've been to Dallas & back to Austin & are probably just getting back home to Houston today. They've been too busy to check the boards!

Glad you are ok Sarah...
