View Full Version : I'm in!
Just got finished buying tickets. We're in Row 7 (G). I can't believe we're that close. I thought the Wired members would have the first 30 rows. Maybe they're all in the Pit. How big is the Pit? Is that an empty-space area, or chairs with assigned seating? We might be a lot farther back than I'm envisioning with Row 7.
Any thoughts on the size and nature of the Pit?

Hey I just joined the forum and saw your post regarding the venue for the Third Day concert on the 23rd right? I have tickets too. I have been to the Berry Center for a Chris Tomlin show and the pit area near the stage was standing I think and then all behind that on the floor level was set up with chairs. We were about on the 10th row of the lower level seating I think and it was an excellent view and great sound in the stadium. I am so excited about this show!!! :)

Well I posted a reply to this thread but it has never shown up. I have been to the Berry Center to see Chris Tomlin and the pit area directly in front of the stage was standing but the rest was all chairs set up. I was in about the 10th row of the area above the pit but was a great seat and great sound!!

All I know is I think it's the first 4 rows. :)

The Barry Center doesn't really have an orchestra pit as such. It is generally the first 4 rows or so but that varies by event. It is whatever the promoter decides to designate for the highest teir tickets prices.
I'm very sad.:(
I'm not going to this event and this is the 1st Third Day concert in the Houston area I will have missed in the last ten years or so.
Between work and school (I enrolled full time this fall to get my degree and teacher's certicicate and I have two major projects to finish up and two tests to study for this weekend) I just don't have the time, money or energy.
Have fun!
