the 80's - part 2

Its kinda funny, talking to friends under 25. A lot of them want to talk about the 80's - the music, the styles (if you can call it that), the movies...and so forth.

1 young lady from my Church's youth group asked me about the movie - Pretty in Pink. That blew me away, she just turned 18... She went on to say, the best teen movies are from the 80's. Which is true...

What is it about the 80's people like/love so much???

yea, I mostly listened to Heavy Metal bands in the 80's - Metallica, Megadeath, Ozzy, Kiss, Dokken...and so forth. But, I didn't limit myself to Metal. I also listened to bands like -Simple Minds, A-Ha, U2, Glass Tiger, *sigh*

I've found myself lately, watching 80's cartoons with my little nefew. Shows like - Duck Tales, Astroboy, Care Bears, and so forth. But He isn't to into them...
