Me!Me!Me! :D
I got tickets late (had to wrangle that front row seat for Jeremy Camp first this time, LOL), so I'm stuck in Poultry, I think, but it's first row, and right on the inner aisle, so it's all good.
And did you see my tweet, that Todd Agnew is coming in October too? Might just have to hit that one too, since it's going to be only about 3 miles from where I work (and is actually the same place where my boss goes to his BNI meeting every Friday morning. Small world! :P )
So at this rate, it's going to be U2, Agnew, Third Day, Jeremy Camp, and the Panthers game in October, with the extra U2 show thrown in two weeks before for good measure. Must everyone ALL schedule so close together? I've had NOTHING since April, and NOW look, my credit card is having a meltdown. ;)
(Recession? WHAT Recession? LOL)

Wow - that's quite some line up. I'm going to 3D in Raleigh, Charlottesville, VA and Casting Crowns in Raleigh in Nov. Want to go to Needtobreathe but not sure I can squeeze it in.
Looking forward to seeing you in Raleigh!!

Needtobreathe is playing in Wilmington this Saturday & Carrboro next month, so surely you can make one of the shows. :D
Seeing Third Day twice is very cool! I can't make this show, but will be at the 3D Family Picnic in Simpsonville.

Anyone heard anything about an opening band for this?
Hoping that since we got skipped over for seeing Glory Revealed II, that maybe it'll just be 3D, and they'll play that much longer that night.

Haven't heard anything except that the M&G for all shows has been moved to before the show.

I haven't heard anything either, guess we'll be surprised then. Although a full concert of nothing but 3D really wouldn't hurt my feelings any. :)
'Course, you know me, the BEST announcement would be "and introducing special guests... U2!" :D Bwahahahah!
(ps: I don't know if you saw my tweet, but thanks for the heads up about the M&G info. :) Hadn't even thought to check that out, although eventually would have, once I popped my head in to make sure I was still listed for the M&G Friday night... but haven't even printed my tickets yet for the show, so I'm a little behind on all things State Fair at the moment...)

I thought I was the only one who rechecks their M&G requests! LOL. 1 more day! Hoping the rain stays away before the show. Want to check out the Fairgrounds. Bundle up! Gonna be brisk! See you tomorrow!!

Accu-weather forecast in my browser toolbar is showing a high of 57 degrees and no rain for tomorrow. One of the network newscasts, it might have been WRAL, actually said 62 as a high for tomorrow.
So either way it should be at least a smidge warmer than 46 during the day, so you should have decent weather at the fair in the afternoon. 'Course it looks like it WILL still be something like 46/47 degrees by around the time the concert gets done, so going home will still be a bit chilly.
At least the rain is out of the forecast for the day. Yay!
And my boss says if I need to leave a little early to have enough time to grab some noms before the M&G, they can close the office a little early tomorrow. Yay again.
So deep fried twinkies are passe now, huh? It's deep fried HoHos and chocolate covered bacon this year? :P Hmmm...

"Tomorrow night we r doing a free @glory_revealed show after 3D show. North Raleigh Christian Academy 9:30pm. Come join us! Pass the word!"
So tweeteth Mac. So it looks like Raleigh is getting the GRII show after all, just not AT the state fair. Good deal.
Still wonder what the deal is. Given how long the GRII set was when they played on GMC or whichever network that was, maybe that - combined with the 3D set - was too LONG to have at the fair.
Who knows. The whole thing for this show got a little wacky. No presale, no VIP seats, first GRII was playing, then it wasn't, now it is, just across town (but not too far from my house now, yay!)
Should make for an interesting evening. Still trying to work out how early I can sneak out of work to get it started. I've got some comp time reserved for it, but whenever I leave, they'll have to close the whole office, since our scheduling calendar got busy all of a sudden for today, and nobody else will be here. Maybe 4:30 will be early enough...

Did anyone who went to see Third Day last night in Raleigh get a video of them singing Charlie Daniel's song? If so will you please post it. I would love to see it again.

Hi Miz Betty! If you can stand the vid being shot from the front row of the *bawk bawk* Poultry section, that was actually one of the few songs I shot in its entirety last night. :)
Since it is the whole song, and the file is so big, YouTube is telling me that it'll be about an hour and a half  to upload it. I'll post the link to it here when it's done.
Meanwhile, here's what I got of Call My Name http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEvfClDjMCI
and Born Again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32n1chFo20Y
Hate the fact that they're so "bass"y (no offense, Tai, lol), it was like that at the U2 shows too. :( Still trying to figure out if there's a setting on the camera that I can tweak to adjust that. Pretty "funny" that my Nikon digital camera handles concert audio better than the video dedicated Sony Handycam. Love the video I get from it, but GOTTA work on that audio...

Thanks a bunch Karen. They did an awesome job on that song! Angie, Barb, and I looked for you there but didn't see you. We sat in 3rd row peanut.

Peanut? *pauses to dig out my Dorton seating chart* Oh, you guys were one section over from me, I was just to your right. :)
Not a bad view for the most part, except for one REALLY Big Head Todd (I swear he was the tallest person in that building that night) about three rows up from me in the next section. Was constantly having to "Todd Dodge" to see Tai all night.
Just kept telling myself "Front Row Center for Jeremy Camp NEXT Friday!" :P
