Well, I DID finally go! Missed out on the M&G but did run into Tai at the merch table. Think I saw g-man from a distance...did meet him last summer...but didn't see anyone else I know from here.

Show was fantastic! My daughter was excited to see Skillet but also gained a new appreciation for Third Day. (Last time she went with me she was, unbeknowst to me, coming down with the flu....she stuck it out knowing how much I wanted to be there)...The guys rocked it and the crowd was tuned in. A lot of energy at this show, even after a long day for some!
Just goes to show you it's worth it to come to Chicago....are you listening guys?

Had a blast this past weekend!! Could NOT believe the weather we had ...... just perfect.

Definite highlights were getting to meet Cindy for the first time!! :D And meeting up with g-man again. Those are some good gomers! ;) I thought what perfect luck it was to enter into the park on Sunday at exactly the same location Third Day's merchandise table was at ...... and there was Tai!! Surprise!!

I left the concert Sunday night thinking they need to make more bands like Third Day. ;) No other band all weekend had my heart singing and praising to my Father in heaven like they did.

Ephesians 5:19-20 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sure I had fun in the crowd with other bands -- KJ 52 was a lot of fun ....... and nobody can get me to dancing like Toby!! But I can honestly say that my heart was missing the worship until Third Day came on stage. Maybe I'm just biased because they are my favorite!! :D

Mac brought up a young lady on stage to sing the "female" part to Born Again. She really did a good job and Mac was so gracious!! :D I love his sweet and gentle spirit. My friend and I decided he needs to make an album of lullabies!! hahaha!! A calming voice in a crazy world.

I hope to figure out how to put up some pics from the weekend. But I admit I took no pics of Third Day. My little camera ran out of battery beforehand. And I didn't want to have to lug the big one up to Third Day. I had to have my hands ready for the air don't cha know!! :D I was up pretty close. Would have loved to seen the view from the stage.
