So this summer some groups like Aerosmith (Toys in the Attic) and Public Enemy (It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back) have been performing classing albums in their entirety.
So tell me, Gomers, if you had to go to a Third Day show and hear one album in its entirety live, which would it be?

That's a good question. I can't decide between "Whereever You Are", and "Revelation"

For me it's a tough choice between Time and the Bus

This is tough!! Maybe a concert series is in order for each. Great idea though...
I would love a Third Day Conspiracy Tour. But, Time would make a great tour too. I say pull up the archives, bring Contagious or the Gray Dot record to current! Conspiracy is a MUST IMO!
Great thread!!

I, unfortunately, did not jump on the Third Day bandwagon until Offerings. So I have not heard alot of the older songs live. To hear songs like "Peace" and "Never Bow Down" live would just rock my socks off!! Also "Blackbird" and "More to This". Yes, I think we need a live show for EACH album. I am there for sure!!!! :D

I'd go for that! I didn't come along until 2006 and would love to hear 'live' all the things I missed!

Well, with Brad no longer in the band...they can't really play my favorite CD live. It would be C#5...

I would choose TIME. Everytime I listen to it I think "This is such a great album, why don't I listen to it more often?"
I LOVE the original version of "Give."

I think TIME is awesome! But really, for me, any of them before WYA since I wasn't a fan yet.

if you look @ the set list's from this tour, it doesn't seem like 3D is playing a lot of thier older music. Other then - Thief...
Hmm... that's a hard one, I think I would say Time or Wire.

I'm not here to pick a fight, or get into a debate over this. But, C#5...in my opinion, If 3D ever did a performance of a whole CD live... C#5 should not be picked by the boys.
Why do you ask??? What makes C#5 great, is the guitar players (Mark & Brad) playing off each other. That would be lacking in a BIG way, even if another guitar player was brought in to play.
Besides, 3D is doing just fine being a 4 piece band.

I love the music and lyrics so much that I personally wouldn't care if it was reworked and sounded different - even if they did it 'unplugged'!
A big ' amen' that they are doing fine with 4 and don't need a new player.

My choices (top three):
1. Offerings #2
2. Offerings #1
3. Revelation
I, like Marmoo68, jumped on the band-wagon with the Offerings albums. I aquired a few of their older cd's in the recent past. I love them too! Still don't have Conspiracy #5. I'll have to work on that since everyone is raving about it.
