View Full Version : Shocking News...
At least is was shocking to me!
I have been a Third Day for a long time now, but the others in my family, well, not so much. In fact my youngest daughter has gone so far as to tell me that they are bad, washed up, etc...
She went with me to see them when they were in Kennewick, WA a while back. I kept telling her that pretty much any live concert is good, so she went. At the concert we got to go the a M&G. I had taken Revelation and Live Revelation with me to get signed. My daughter obviously did not have any of their cd's as they were SO BAD. I let her get signatures on one of the cd's and then when she said that she actually enjoyed the concert, I told her just to keep the cd since she had gotten it signed. As we left she told me that it was a pretty good concert.
Well, here is the shocking part, last night she told me that she LOVED THE CD:) :D . That was the last thing I ever expected her to say!! I do have to agree that Revelation is a great cd!!
Anywho, I just had to share that.
Take care, Ron

That's really great news! I am the only one in my household who absolutely adores Third Day! I have the same problems with my family! My dad likes them, but I don't live with him. And my sister likes them, but she moved out of the house. She got married a year ago. But my brother on the other hand absolutely doesn't like them with a passion! He keeps trying to get my dad to stop liking them and my step mother, too! She told him to listen to music that people their age listen to. I told her that people of ALL ages listen to Third Day! But that didn't change much. We had a huge fight at the dinner table about music. They think that all Christian music is like hymnal music. Christian Rock is just like any other rock music. So, why not listen to music that has a great meaning?! So, I've got the same problem! I think I need to get my brother to a Third Day concert!

That's a great story!
Just over 3 years ago, my husband bought me my first 3D disc. I thought they were "alright" but wasn't a big fan. Then I saw them in concert and it's all over now! LOL! They are - by far and without question - my favorite band, period. I don't actually agree that every band is better in concert. I've seen some shows that have caused me to never want to listen to the band again. Third Day, however, is all about praising God and that's just awesome. :D

Love the Third Day stories y'all..
I have a lot, but the one I like the most is when my hubby is tinkering around the house and he is singing Third Day songs and there is no CD on!!! That just makes my day. He is not much of a concert goer because he has little crowd patience, however, on Oct 18, 2002, he went to see Third Day with me in Savannah. He loved it, took some great pictures and we had a great time. He also really liked Tait, said he rocked it.
My grand-kids, it is a given, they have a fit if I am going to a show and their not. Just so you know, I only leave them home if I am going further than Georgia, or for middle of the week events. If I am going and their not, when they can, they tell the guys on me...LOL!! They are too funny and are a lot of fun.

My kids are each waiting their turn. We were able to bring our 11 year old to a show 2 summers ago. My 8 year old saw them this past December and met the band afterward - a definite highlight! I'm hoping to get the chance to bring my other two before too long.

there is a young guy (19), who knows of 3D. But he isn't a BIG fan, he actually makes fun of their music. My Church has a coffee shop, all the $$$ made goes to orphans in Africa. One night, I took my CV2 CD/DVD set to the coffee shop, the young man and another guy watched the 1 hour story of 3D.
Afterwards, he said...and I quote - They Rock.
