Missed it as big Scout fundraiser at our church today. Please let me know if you post a recording of the show, Karen.

Took me about 15 minutes to figure out which one of my capture programs would do the job, but finally got one to work.

Uploading it to yousendit as we speak! :)

Here (https://rcpt.yousendit.com/694513836/8a9e607b2447b60382b3f2ca6 70d553d) be the link. The file is an asf, I think it ended up about 254MB.

If you're playing it back in WMP, I'd watch it at half size, that's actually the size the window was while it was playing live, and it looks less pixelly that way...

You're welcome. :) I'm just glad it worked. I was a little worried, my usual program, which normally can capture EVERYTHING, wouldn't even see the feed, and even the one that I had that was specifically for Windows Media files, it wouldn't find the feed via Firefox, I had to access it via IE first, which then saved the correct URL, then I could switch back and actually watch it via Firefox. Whew!

Recorded and played back several test feeds of LZ7 just to make sure it DID in fact work before 3D came on. Then after several false starts/deletes at 4PM(ish) while the hosts kept yammering on, it finally got started officially at around 4:20, just before 3D came on. And I just let it do its thing until the end of the set. Trimmed off about 3 minutes from the front, and a little off the back, and uploaded it. Took about an hour and a half, plenty of time to go "reheat and eat my noms" which had gotten cold while I was watching the concert. :P

Here's a shot of the PC hard at work, you can see all the canceled false starts in the file list. I think that's Mac singing "Thief" right about then.

LOL! Even when I'm watching a concert on my monitor, I still have a camera glued to my face! :o :D I actually shot a short HD clip with the new camcorder too (the pic is via the camcorder also), just to see how it handled shooting a computer monitor, if I get a chance to convert it over to flash, I'll upload it. It's not very long, I hadn't dumped all my test footage from this past week off it yet, so the card ran out of space.

Anyhoo, yousendit will hold the file for the next two weeks or 200 downloads, whichever comes first, or until the downloads use up all 6gb of my allotted bandwidth. The one download so far has used up 4% of it, so there's plenty of time and bandwidth left... :)

Here's a link (http://www.kcusimano.com/thirdday/videotest/3DSlovikiaHDtest.html) to the flv file... interesting...um... experiment. Don't know why the volume took such a jump there at the end.

That one download must've been me. Is now a part of my hard drive for life. Kept losing signal yesterday, too. Thanks ever so.

Your screen shot is very impressive! I used to be into computers -- even have 2 associate degrees (Internet Technologies and Information Systems) but couldn't find a job and went in another direction so I haven't kept up with technology much. Downloaded my copy. thanks again!!

I'm just happy everything worked and nothing crashed. :)

I converted the original ASF file into flash today, and uploaded it here (http://www.kcusimano.com/thirdday/videotest/3DSlovakia.html). HOPEFULLY it'll work and play back as a stream for anyone who has an internet connection that doesn't download the 250mb file too well. I made it a little smaller in size too, so it'll play back a little smoother, and not look quite so pixelly.
