Since I started this post I’ll tell you guys how I became a Third Day fan.
It was in the summer of 2003 when my girlfriend now wife Carolina bought the Come Together CD and for some reason that was the only CD that she had in Car. When I heard for the first Time I didn’t like CD at all, and the only song I liked was 40 days, few weeks later the local radio Christian station announced Autumn Blaze at the Meadowlands with Cross Movement, Orange County Supertones, and Third Day, to be honest I bought the tickets to see Cross Movement, but God acts in mysterious way so I was on my to see the Concert and it started slow Cross Movement was ok, Orange County Supertones was ok too, but when Third Day came to Stage and they started play for me it was like The Best Band That I ever Heard play in my life, they were so good that the place looks like would blow up with sound that they were making, and when they play Blackbird was awesome !!!!!, after the concert I was Like I’m going to buy all the CDs they have, and go to all the concerts in NJ and NY area, which I’ve been blessed to do. Since October 2004 I never missed a Third Day Concert, and I have all the CDs and DVDs.
So………
I would like to Know how did u guys Became Third Day Fans.

A friend of mine, gave me a copy of a WOW CD. And it had a 3D song on it, Nothing at all. From that point, I was hooked. Sadly, I haven't seen Third Day live, but I hope to. God willing...

When I started listening to Christian Music sometime around 2005, I got a WOW CD to get a sampling of what was out there. I fell in love with Third Day at that point. I started buying their CDs and saw my first concert in Dec 2007 during their Christmas Offerings Tour. Since that I've seen them 4 times and met them twice. Still don't have ALL the CDs but have most.

COULDN'T STAND THEM. Then in Jan of 2006 I found I was still in possession of Offerings 2. I'd never gotten rid of a used copy of it. Put it in my cd and just kept listening to them over and over. SAME cd, different "me". Took a chance on WYA and I've been a devoted fan ever since. The Lord used them to totally change my relationship with Him.

I had just started listening to Christian Radio in 2003 after my life took a new turn, happiness, it felt wonderful, and I found this song ,Wire, and I instantly fell in love with Third Day, not knowing who they were, I would listen to Christian radio on cable tv, and would see still shots of the bands, who's songs were playing and when I saw a shot of Mac Powell the face matched the voice, and heaven came to earth, and I have been a nut ever since that night I heard Third Day

I first heard Third Day on our satalite radio in 2000. " King of Glory " was being played in heavy rotation. Everytime they played it, I would look to see who sang it. I decided to buy Offerings and have been hooked ever since. I have all of their CDs, except Christmas Offerings. I'm planning on buy Live Revelations soon. I've seen them in concert four time, most recently in Modesto Ca. It was the BEST Third Day show I've seen so far. I will be a fan for as long as they keep blessing us with their music.:D

my youth pastor had played a few 3D songs before and i'd occasionally heard them on the radio....time went on and for some reason i went to the christian bookstore to buy a present for my granny's birthday present or something, and to get myself a casting crowns cd...on the tv they were playing livewire and the song Rockstar caught my attention i liked what i heard...i forgot casting crowns and bought the 3D cd. as soon as i put it in i was hooked. then it went on to song #2 Come On Back To Me...i'd been dealing with a lot in my life then and kinda strayed away from God...that song instantly put me in tears and chills ran up my spine...i probably listened to that song 10 times before continuing with the cd. the more i listened the more i liked. there was something different about the music and it hit really personal with me. and the perspective on the lyrics was something i'd never heard from any band before. anyway the lyrics really got to me and i found more and more cd's through the internet and stored...then the 3D myspace and eventually the message boards...now i'm here and here i plan to remain until either they or i no longer exist.

My brother Greg let me listen to his Offerings CD and I really liked Your Love Oh Lord and King of Glory. Then we went to see them during the Wire tour in Phoenix. I saw people in orange shirts and thought they were a church group. Shortly after, I found the message board and the Gomer sign-up page. The rest is history.

Short version: I heard their first single on the radio. I wanted to know who it was. I finally got a copy of their album. First time they came to play in my area. not long after, I went to see them. Screamed, "I LOVE THESE GUYS!" on the top of my lungs. Still a fan some 50+ shows later.

Back in 1996 they came to Hannibal,Mo, and I almost went to the concert, but I didn't know who they were so I didn't go. The following day the local Christian radio station were praising the concert and how good they sounded. So I went to The Mustard Seed bookstore and put their sample cd in the player. "Nothing at All" was the first song I heard, 13seconds into the song I was blown away and was hooked. That song still gives me goosebumps. Bought the cd right away. Been a fan ever since (13yrs). I have all the cd's and dvds. Got t-shirts and a hat. Seen them 3 times in concert. Third Day rocks!!

I heard "It's Alright" on the radio about a year before I started buying their cd's. I really knew very little about them, but I was in the Family Christian store one day when I found Offerings 1. Put it in the cd player in the store to get a quick sampling. Liked it right away and played it in the car all the way home. Wasn't long before I went back for Offerings 2 and Come Together. I've been collecting their cd's ever since.

I also became a Third Day fan through WOW 98 I heard My Hope is You(studio version) and was totally hooked. The first Third Day cd I bought was Offerings when it first came out if I'm not mistaken.
I have only seen Third Day once and this was during the Wire Tour in 04. I went to the Salem VA show with Dad. I have since then lost my love for CCM(or at least the new crap) oh how I hate it!!!!!! But Third Day has always and will be special to me

I picked up Christmas Offerings at Sam's Club in Nov. '06 because I was looking for some new Christmas music.
I had heard OF Third Day but was not familiar with their music.
In Jan. '07 I was in FCS to pick up Lifesong by Casting Crowns. They were out of it. I saw Wherever You Are & said, "Hey, that's the band who's Christmas album I bought, I'll get THAT!" I liked what I heard & started to buy other 3D albums when I'd see them.
The Lord really spoke to my heart through the music of Third Day & they are a big part of my testimony.
I eventually got ahold of every CD & DVD they'd ever released including the rare ones (although "Long Time Forgotten" & "Contagious" continue to elude me.) I also tracked down other side projects they'd been involved in, most notably the City on a Hill projects, & have been exposed to some beautiful worship music I probably would have never heard otherwise.
I've been blessed to see them twice. Once at the State Fair & I also got to see that magical Christmas Tour with Jars of Clay.
(I was not a Jars fan at the time, but now I own almost all of their albums as well!)
God willing I will get to see 3D again in the fall! :D

I was in a bad place in my life and needed to get on the right path. I was looking for God to help me. I heard Third Day "Alright" and God spoke to me through this song. He has been in my life ever since then. Sandi

Back in the 90s I used to go to church with Mac Powell. Third Day would play for our Wednesday night Bible study. I stopped going to that church, and honestly any church, for a while. I had really slipped away from God. By the time I got myself back together and started living my life for Him again, Third Day was famous. I've not seen them in concert yet, but I hope to soon. I plan on going to the Glory Revealed concert in August, and I am hoping to see them in October. (I had a chance when I was pregnant with my daughter, but I was so sick I didn't go.)

Well, when my cousin, JumpingManiac, got into 3D he would always have me listen to a 3D song everytime I saw him, he was always, "Oh, you've gotta hear this song, it's a 3D song." For a while there, I never really liked them because I got tired of him talking about them. But then he made me listen to a song and I was like, " You know, they ARE pretty cool." Then in '07 they invited me to go with them to a 3D concert along with a meet and greet. I liked them even more after that day!

Actually it was my son Eric who get me interested in Third Day I was still into secular music at the time, but Eric liked them so I would always buy him a Third Day CD whenever I found one! My husband also enjoyed listening to them, but Iwas still caught up in my own secular Rock N Roll world- not really believing that Christian Music could "Rock", but boy was I wrong!! The turning point for me was When Third Day was coming to our County Fair on July 24, 2004. I decided to buy the family tickets to go & see them, since I knew my husband & Eric would be pleased. To be honest I had heard their songs, but never actually listend to them- boy was I in for a surprise!! As they came out on the stage & started playing songs from "Live Wire" I was blown away- not only did they sing about God, but they could praise & worship Him though rock!! Soon I found myself standing up front with all the other true blue (or should I say "orange") Third Day fans- clapping & singing along!! But I think the moment I was truly bitten was when Mac was on stage talking & the lady next to me started to take a picture of him & Mac noticed her & came & stood in front of us & smiled & waited for her to take the picture!! How cool was that??!! He actually noticed & cared that the lady wanted a picture! Not at all like the secular groups who could care less!! Third Day genuinely believed in what they were doing & the love of God was shining though them when Mac showed he cared!!! WOW...I have never been the same since that moment!! I am now much closer to God because I am more focused on Him & listen to music that Glorifies the Lord! I now am a Gomer & very proud of it & have been to about 6 concerts & 4 M&G's I love these guys!! They are truly men on fire for God & that love shows in their songs , music & the way they make their fans feel like friends Thank you Mac, Mark, Tai, & David for making this change in my life! God bless & keep on "rockin' for Jesus"!!

Loved your story Cindy. I guess I didn't really know your Third Day history went back to 2004. Cool to read this-thanx for posting!
Right after i got saved i was complaining to my pastor that all i had were worldly cd's. I didn't even know there were good christian artists out there. He gave me a copy of Offerings 1. I fell in love with the song King of Glory and the rest is history.

I bought my dad Offerings 1 and 2 for Christmas one year, cuz he asked for it. He used to play them over and over quite loudly. I hated it. But then about a year later i started to listen to a christian radio, and it was right after they started playing Cry Out To Jesus. I loved the song so i bought wya, and became a mega-fan. I ended up stealin my dads copies of offerings 1 and 2,:P and now have every album of theirs. Cry Out To Jesus pretty much changed my whole outlook on life, and my relationship with Christ has totally deepened since then.

I was going through a really rough time in life about 2 years ago. Luckily, I turned toward God instead of away. So I asked one of my friends what good christian music was. Honestly, I didn't even know that genre was out there, except that she listened to some. So she told me to get Third Day, Casting Crowns and Jeremy Camp. That day I got one cd each. I got hooked on Third Day, Wherever you are. The songs really spoke me to and the trials I was going through. Then my husband and I went to see them in concert a few months later. That started the Third Day obsession...for both of us! Going to the concerts and meeting the band, they are so down to earth and seem so personable and friendly, they truly make you part of the experience. Now we see them anytime they are within a days drive, listen to them all the time, are getting our friends hooked on them and booked the MusicBoat cruise in 2010!

I guess i became a fan before I knew that there was a band that wrote these songs:) We sung a lot of Third Day songs in church on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights etc. Then bought the Come Together CD - Loved it and went back and bought all the rest of their CD's. Went to first Third Day concert in 2003 at request of friend Joanne and to be honest was contemplating not going because of anxiety attacks i would get in crowds, but Jo pushed that we would get there early, be on front row so i would not be sandwiched in:) & my hubby encourage me to go as well. I was hooked from the first concert, which was more like fun church. It is well know at my company from the top down that I plan business around Third Day concerts here in US as well as Europe.

I had never listened to 3D's music before. I had only heard of them because a guy at church wore a concert tshirt. My husband loved their song Mountain of God & I had been wanting to branch out and listen to new music. We were at Walmart and I saw the WYA cd with that song on it & bought it. Not to mention the other cds later on. The rest is history.

I think it was Christmas, 2005 when my husband bought me Wired. I'd been listening to the contemporary Christian station, but they really only played the pop songs. Occasionally, a Third Day song would come on, but it was usually the same 5 songs in rotation. Dave, however, loved their sound so he bought me the album in an attempt to get me hooked.
The following Christmas, I purchased Wherever You Are and listened to it nonstop. It was that summer, however, when I first saw 3D live that I was really hooked! They're pretty much all I listen to now, for reasons that I really don't need to share with fellow fans! ;)

I'm a Arena fan for about two years. I listen every week to a radioprogramm about progrock. A song of Arena passed and I thought: hmmmm interesting. I know it's illegal but I downloaded a Arena song on KaZaA. It was The Butterfly man. After all nog a bad choice It's still one of my favorite Arena songs I was so impressed by The Butterfly man that I decided to by Immortal? Then it was done, and I became a Arenafan. Contagion followed soon, and the rest.
