Apparently it was a great show according to Mark's blog:

4/18 - Fort Walton Beach, FL - the return of Bizarro Mac
After being on the road for so many years, it's refreshing to play in a town we've never played before. And it's even better when we have a night like we had tonight.

But first there was today. As the name suggests, we were walking distance from the Gulf of Mexico. Most of us did just that - walked the short distance and hung out on or near the beach for most of the day. As I think I've mentioned, Mac and I both have our families out this weekend, and Tai has his son TJ out. So it was a good old family fun day by the beach. And the weather was awesome.

BTW - I'm sure the local chamber of commerce wouldn't mind this little plug. If you've never been to the Florida Panhandle before, you owe it to yourself. The beaches in these parts are some of the most beautiful you'll find anywhere. Sugar white sand as far as the eye can see :)

I'll be honest - I had my doubts when I first saw the venue. We played at a civic convention center type room, and those can sometimes feel kind of sterile. My fears were quickly set aside when we walked onstage. The place was packed, and it was loud in there. Two things that make for a great rock show.

Speaking of great rock show, that definitely happened tonight. There's a phenomenon that happens only a couple times a year that we like to call Bizarro Mac. It's when Mac gets fired up about the show and it runs long. Believe me - we don't mind Bizarro Mac showing up. Tonight it happened during the acoustic set. We kept taking requests, and we kept on playing them. I don't even remember what all we did. If you were there, maybe you remember. Post it in the comments below...

At any rate, Bizarro Mac should give you an idea of how much fun we had tonight. Great show, great crowd, great night.

One other thing I'll add about tonight. If a prize were to be awarded for the hottest Wired Meet and Greet ever, tonight would take the prize. Maybe somebody's trying to grow orchids at the venue or something, but I felt like I was in a greenhouse or something. TMI? Probably. But hey, we at Third Day are going to err on the side of too much information every time.
