Cards choke.
CC unimpressive.
Reds lose against the K-Rod Mets.
A-roid is hurt and doesn't start.
C'mon and post.

Something told me picking CC for my fantasy team might be a bad idea.
And, am I the only one who was not aware that Nomar Garciapara had signed with Oakland??
Johan looked solid for the Mets. In fact I think the Mets may take the NL.

No you aren't.
Mets are due to win it all. They've been good the last couple of years. Is Wilie Randolph still coaching? I like him.

Being a Twins fan, I may use the fact that you guys stole Johan from us as an excuse to jump on the Mets bandwagon and make them my NL team.

Hope you're right!
No, Randolph is now a bench coach for Milwaukee, he was fired by the Mets last summer. Jerry Manuel is the manager.

Go Rockies!
Cook didn't look too good yesterday...but today, Ubaldo Jimenez looks to be unbeatable.
Atlanta 2-0. Figures I can't watch any of the games.

He did great yesterday, I hope he can keep it up. He might be one of the few bright spots for the Rocks this year.

Please pray for the Nick Adenhart family.
He is a 22-year old LA Angels rookie that was killed in a hit and run.

I had the pleasure of talking to this young man a few times when he pitched in Cedar Rapids a few years ago and found him to be very humble and genuinely pleased that someone in Iowa had heard of him.
Condolences to family and friends.
Things like this put baseball in perspective. Life is far more important than a game, and I am a die-hard baseball fan.

I just saw this. Nick Adenhart pitched for the Kernels. He was a really nice young man.

We went to the Metrodome yesterday and watched the Twins lose a game because they couldn't get any hits.
