Great Show, New Shirt

Had a great time at the show. Thanks so much to Michelle and her mom for giving us our tickets. So generous!!!

Revive was on fire! I keep finding myself singing their stuff as I'm going around today. Brandon Heath was good, but Third Day was just in their own league. Mark Lee plays solos like no one else. Just amazing. I'll try to get the videos up soon. No good pics, though. My camera just couldn't zoom enough. At one point, the guys took their show to the back of the floor section and did a little Third Day Unplugged sort of set. Poor Mac had a tough time with our pollen, though.

Audrey and I made her a shirt for the show. I'll post it. Thanks to Barb for the coloring pages that made it easier to figure out how to draw the guys. :)

Our shirt was my husband's XL t-shirt. It's amazing what you can do with a sewing machine, some scissors and a vision. I'm dumbfounded it actually turned out okay. We decorated it the morning of the show - I dried the glitter with my hairdryer. :) Now if we could only run into the guys and get them to sign their picture on the back...

We brought Flat Mac and Flat Mark to the show. They were great to have around while we were waiting for things to start. My daughter used a glow stick to mimic Mac's microphone so he could sing "I Wanna Be a Rockstar!" She was really disappointed that they didn't sing that song for her during the night, but I thought their set was really good anyhow.

Hey Alayna! What cute pics!! Thanks for sharing! Do you plan to go see Third Day at Busch Gardens in June? I plan to be there!! Can't wait to see them since it will be my first show this year!! I hope to see you there! :D

I don't think we're going to make the Busch Gardens show...but I also didn't think we'd get to go to Fairfax, so really you just never know! Are they having the same opening groups at BG as they did in Fairfax (i.e. Revive & Brandon Heath)? I think I've finally got my ideal show figured out: Revive, Sanctus Real, Switchfoot, Third Day. Perfect lineup.
