Y'know, I've heard some bizarre things used to help athletes get motivated to play. But this one may just take the cake.
See for yourselves below. Isn't this just a little much? Thoughts?

It's all Mike Tyson's fault. :P
Apparently they just borrowed from this...
Two years prior to the bout, in a post-fight interview following the Savarese fight, Tyson had made several inflammatory remarks to Lewis, "I want your heart, I want to eat his children."
Teams do quirky things to stay motivated, and it sounds like this one was just a one-off that someone popped off with at practice, that has taken on a life of its own.
Kind of surprised that it even warranted a mention in the Washington Post. Must have been a slow news day. ;)
