So this was my first 3D show in 7 years. 3D has been my favorite band since 1996, but because of my job and location, I've only had a few opportunities to see them. Fortunately, I was able to make the 3 hour drive to see them at Jonesboro.
What a rockin' show! Of course they didn't play all of my favorites, but they did play my #1 fav -- King of Glory. I loved every song. And they played Revelation at the end, and it rocked 3x as hard as on the album!
I'd always meant to sign up for Wired but never had, and so I saw the sign up table and went for it, and I got to meet the band for the first time. I was a little worried since I had met some other Christian music artists in the past and they were less that personable, but all of my worries disappeared as soon as I met Mr. Carr. What a nice guy! They all were nice and spent plenty of time with all of us. I simply cannot wait for another opportunity to see them again!
P.S. - I was also a little worried since obviously this would be my first show since Brad left. Not for any other reason than that was just the way I knew Third Day. But, they still have it! Awesome!
