Hey Guys,
Just got an email from Gospel Music Channel. There is going to be a new Third Day special premiering next Saturday, March 28th!! Whoooot. Can't wait for this. Mark had told us about it on Twitter. It is an unplugged set. This is going to be so good. I can't wait. Here are the details from the email.

Third Day: Revealed
Premiering Saturday, March 28 at 8 pm et, one of the biggest bands in gospel music performs songs from their latest release Revelation, as well as old favorites, and shares the stories behind them in an unplugged setting. Anyone planning on recording it who would be willing to make a copy? I'd be more than happier to pay for the disc or tape and shipping. :)

Does your Grandma have a VCR??? Or could you take one with you so you could tape it yourself?? Just a suggestion! :D

That's so funny, 'cause I missed it too! I was quickly checking my SPAM folder (which is where the GMC email always shows up.)
I downloaded Mandisa's song & totally missed that Third Day was even on the page!

It's interesting that they are calling it exactly the same name as the half hour show I still have on my DVR from August ("Revelation Revealed.")
They sang "Call My Name", "I Will Always Be True" & "Revelation" (with the rockin' ending that others have posted about.)

It was in the same little studio room where they did the GMC performance last year, so I imagine they recorded it all at once & have been making us wait all this time to see the whole show!! :eek:

I don't think they recorded it all at once. Because, Mark had tweeted about it when they were filming it. I believe it was in mid-January?! When this one was recorded!

I'm watching it for the second time around. This is really good. COTJ is (as Mac said) "a really broken down version of the song". The whole song is just Mac singing with Scotty on piano until the last of the song where the rest of the band comes in. Best version of it they've ever done.:)

It WAS a totally different studio / different show. The other one was more about the making of "Revelation," although it wasn't called that.

What I'd like to know is... how do you get to attend one of these awesome mini-concerts?

You hollared out to the Boards and I did the shoutin about it on Twitter. Between us everyone was notified. That's a great Gomer team right there, eh?! I can't get The Gospel Channel up here in Canada so I sure hope you recorded it, Mary. We can watch it when I visit this summer!
