3. Do you take naps? Yes, Ma'am! Especially on Sundays after having to play music two nights in a row on Fridays/Saturdays and then church on Sundays.

2. What insults your intelligence? Patronizing attitudes. I don't know everything and I don't expect anyone to think I know everything, but it's irksome when someone seems to think I'm not even capable of adding two and two to make four. Basic respect. That's all I ask.

3. Do you take naps? I wish I didn't. But I've come to a point where I can't stay awake sometimes. It'd be really nice if the sleep I get at night would be sufficient. But apparently it's not.

1. Well, if I stll HAD a boss, yes. Carol has an easy job. Did you know that looking for a job can be a full time job in and of itself?
2. Right now, people thinking there is no difference between being fired and being laid off.

2. People who think that because I didn't vote for nor like Obama, I am racist that has to be the the most illogical argument ever. God forbid if you show white pride I am very proud to be white hence I am racist:rolleyes: :rolleyes: One more, people who think just because I have a disability, I am mentally challenged. I get it sometimes when I am in a store "HI BUDDY HOW ARE YOU DOING TODAY" I just laugh. But one of these days I'll throw them through a loop and act retarded as I probably could get away with it.

I appreciate that. Yes, Walt still has his job, at least for now. They cut his pay another 10%. That's hard as he was underpaid (for his job classification) to start with. I was one of the few people at the printing company who was paid decently. But it is taking the Texas Workforce commission 4-6 weeks to get benefits flowing. I had the requisite 3 months earnings in savings, so financially we aren't in a bad place right now, but there has been NOTHING in my field to even apply for this week. The job ads in the paper, even 4 years ago, were 3-4 pages, just for administrative jobs. There hasn't been even 1 column for human resources positions. I'm hopelessly behind in many computer skills people are looking for, so next week I'm taking a class in PowerPoint and Access through the unemployment office. Beats going out and filling in applications I guess. But I just keep praying that the Lord will open the right door. He did when I went to my former employer. It was like there was a Lori-shaped niche just waiting for me to fill. Walt didn't even know I had the job until I showed up the first day of work, because I didn't want ANYONE screaming nepotism. Oh well, I guess it is in HIS timing, not mine!!!

oh good. I'm glad your husband still has his job. Good on you for being so proactive and taking computer classes already. Yes, the Lord will provide you with exactly what you need. He takes care of the birds in the air and the lilies of the field -- and you are worth much more than those. :)
