1. What question do you hate being asked? Hmm...I can't think of an answer to this one....

2. Which movies have you watched over and over again? This is easy: "Elvis On Tour" (1972 - it won a Golden Globe award for Best Documentary that year. It captured Elvis Presley on a 15-day tour from April 5 - April 19, 1972) and "Elvis: That's The Way It Is" (both the 1970 and 2001 editions).

3. How important is it to you that people remember, spell and pronounce your name correctly? Why? It's not important cuz my name is easy to pronounce: Tony. ;) :P

4. When something is funny, do you usually laugh raucously, hiss, snort, chuckle quietly to yourself, or smile and nudge the person next to you? It depends on how I'm feelin' or how funny whatever was said is...if it's really funny I laugh a really loud and annoying laugh...:D

Oh wow. Mostly my funny movies: Knocked Up, Old School, Wedding Crashers, Superbad, etc. The Ocean's trilogy finds its way into my DVD player often too.

3. How important is it to you that people remember, spell and pronounce your name correctly? Why?

I could count how many different ways my 6th grade students spelled "Hercules" on cards/papers on 2 hands. Its no big deal. My first name is Mary, which is hard to mess up.

It depends on where I am and what proper etiquette allows.

1. How are you? Particularly by people who really couldn't care less how you are doing on any given day!
2. As a general rule, once is enough for me with most movies. But there are a few that I've watched several times. The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz, The Greatest Story Ever Told, Young Frankenstein. You know - the classics!!!:D
3. When I was single, no one (with the exception of my hubby) could pronounce my last name (Hamburt). Even now, after 32 years, my father-in-law calls me LAURIE, not LORI. So, no it isn't a real big deal with me.
4. Depends on how it hits me at the time. It I find it amusing, I generally chuckle and smile. But if it hits me in "that" spot (I call it my punny bone), I will generally laugh so hard I almost can't breath, let alone stand.

3. Very important, that they can at least respect me to make the effort of getting my name correct. Or they will say... what is your name? Glory? Rory? Laura? Is that L-O-R-I?

1. What question do you hate being asked? The one that always comes after "Are you going to school? What's your major?" It's always something like, "What do you plan to do with that?" or "Are you going to teach?" I don't know, and no. It shouldn't bother me so much, because they usually mean well, but I'm always afraid they'll think I'm being irresponsible or wishy-washy or something. But if they do, who cares. There are other questions related to my life that I don't particularly like, but this is the biggest one at the moment.

2. Which movies have you watched over and over again? Too many to name. When I really like a movie, I can watch it a virtually infinite number of times. The trick is finding a movie I like. They are much more few and far between than they seem to be for the average person.

3. How important is it to you that people remember, spell and pronounce your name correctly? Why? Well, my name's not too hard. Emily is pretty simple. So I don't have too much trouble in that department. But there are some who seem to think that I say "Kimberly." When that happens it bothers me. So I guess it's pretty important, but it's rare that anyone messes it up, so I don't think about it much.

4. When something is funny, do you usually laugh raucously, hiss, snort, chuckle quietly to yourself, or smile and nudge the person next to you? It depends on the situation. I do a lot of inward chuckling and smiling to myself, but I am known to get giggly, lasting sometimes for several minutes. :D

Probably! But we'll have to make that quadruplets, since there are two Lori's and two Laurie's. I certainly was separated from my brain at birth, so....

As for the random questions:
1. I really dislike being asked how old I am. My husband has totally white hair and I don't have much gray at all, and I look very young. So they always think HE robbed the cradle. The best part of the joke is that I'm older than he is.
2. I don't very often watch a movie more than once. Can't remember the last time.
3. Annoys the dickens out of me. My name is L O R I not Laurie. If it helps, you can call me LoriBeth.
4. I don't often belly-laugh, but I frequently chuckle and smile. About the only time I laugh out loud is when something is truly outrageously silly.

When I was little my auntie always used two l's in my name. It drover me nuts.

2. really, too many to list...here's a few: braveheart, finding nemo, pocahontas, beauty and the beast, LOTR series, legends of the fall...really too many.

1. What question do you hate being asked? I can't think of one.

2. Which movies have you watched over and over again? *deep breath* All the Pink Panther movies starring Peter Sellers, Sound of Music, The Princess Bride, School of Rock, A Walk on the Moon, Pride and Prejudice, Elf, The Bourne Identity, The Transporter (the first one), Holes, The Sandlot, Babe. Seriously, I've probably watched them at least 10 times each. I wouldn't lie to you. And there are probably more I'm not remembering.

3. How important is it to you that people remember, spell and pronounce your name correctly? Why? When I was younger it drove me nuts when people pronounced my name Car-a instead of Care-a. I think if family pronounced it wrong because they didn't really care to know, that would bother me. Although most of my side of the family calls me Karla or Karol or Karen all because I've gotten called all those things or had mail addressed like that. But you know, they're all just a bunch of big jerks anyway and I hate their guts. I'M KIDDING!! :D I consider them all little nicknames and I love it.

4. When something is funny, do you usually laugh raucously, hiss, snort, chuckle quietly to yourself, or smile and nudge the person next to you? All of the above. Really, why limit yourself? Laughing is FUN!! I do get embarrassed though because there are times my funny bone gets really tickled -- and noone elses does and I'm doubled over crying, trying to catch my breath and they (my jerk of a family) just sits there and looks at me like I'm from another planet or something.

It's not too important... i laugh becuase my chemistry teacher got my name right ALL last semester, but has decided to change it to Christine this year... however, atleast that is close to my name... my French teacher calls me "uh you" and he's had me for almost 30 weeks now... I'll answer to alot of stuff though... but please give me a name

One of my favorite names was when I was at my sons school volunteering for something and one of the kids passed me in the hallway and said "Hi Mrs. Ben's Mom". :D

1. I can't think of a specific question, but I hate it when people ask a question then walk away before you answer.

3. I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that people will almost always misspell and mispronounce my last name. It is kind of a common name but spelled and pronounced differently than the way most people think of. My first name though I am picky about. I know there are variations of "Wendy" but since mine is spelled the most common way it shouldn't be that hard to get it right.

4. It seems I either smile to myself or crack up. :D

1. What question do you hate being asked?

So, what are you doing with your life right now? Just because I finished 2nd in my graduation class, but am now an umemployed university drop-out, it doesn't mean I don't have plans for my life. Besides, right now I have enough money banked that I don't need to be working, so I am enjoying being 21 and being able to do what I want...like I decided to go to Western Canada to visit a friend for a few weeks about a week before I actually went. I'm enjoying my time playing video games and going to concerts and sleeping in.

Almost everyone I meet tells me they have never met anyone with my name before, although there are 4 of us from my tiny little village... Growing up, my name was often misspelled because there was another Fallon in my class, but she spelt her name with only one L...Most people don't seem to have a problem with remembering my name (I was actually at a concert the other day, and it was my second time seeing this particular band) and the bass player was talking when he just stopped midsentence so he could point at me and say "Whoa! Fallon's here!"...
