Really wish Pensacola Civic Center (capacity 6,000)...or even the Mobile Mitchell Center...was getting a part of the Third Day tour.

Kind of surprised to see the smaller town of Ft. Walton hosting a show. I thought about making the drive to Ft. Walton April 18...but the show is in a 2,300 person capacity ballroom with a level floor....I am worried about bringing a group of 10-14 kids and them not being able to see.

Anyone know what I should expect there?

Third Day is the family favorite...we've seen them 4 times...hate to miss it since it has been since 2006 for our last Third Day show!

Mitchell Center would be too cool for words. I have tried bribing them with the offer of baked goods, but to no avail. Come on, guys, you don't know what you're missing...

The last time Third Day was scheduled here was when Hurricane Ivan (2004) hit....and the show got canceled because all of the hotel space was being used for displaced families. However...that is a distance memory now and Pensacola is thriving with more hotels, new construction, restaurants, etc. then ever before. Thank God for that.
In 2006, Third Day came to the Mitchell Center in Mobile, AL...and we drove 60-75 minutes west for that one. It was a good venue.
The show in Fort Walton is only 45-60 minutes east...but I am just concerned about it being in an auditorium that is flat and seating 2300 people. I just do not think anyone that is vertically challenged is going to be able to see anything unless you are in the first 20 rows and take advantage of the stage height.
Hopefully, someone on these boards have a similar concert experience and can share any suggestions...or should I just pass on taking a small group of young people to this one.

ha! i moved out of Mobile two years ago, and i remember the local Christian radio station broadcasting ads for it. i guess you can say that got me hooked on 3D, but i remember looking up 'I Can Feel It', and not liking how the chorus went.

however, things change, and I'm kicking myself that i can't go to the Fort Walton show, or the Montgomery, because of a trip to Atlanta.:(
