So, I am going to be heading to a Third Day concert on March 5th! My second one, but first as a Wired member! I got my tickets in the mail yesterday and I have to say that I am more excited for some odd reason! As said in the title... this will be my first time meeting the band. I am ready! Anyone have any ideas of what to ask the guys? I can't wait! Me and my sister are going to drive 4 hours there and back! So, we will get home pretty late. But, in order to get a good view for pictures... I had to buy tickets in level B. I think it's a balcony... but I can't be for sure. So, Mac... if you read this... send a wave or some kind of sign my way! Just let me know so I can be looking for it! (Look at the picture below for an idea of where I will be! It's somewhere in that dark blue spot in the light blue!) Haha, yeah, I know! I'm crazy! My tickets are... Row 11 Seats 12 and 13! Hope you guys' looking forward to meeting someone new! My sister can't come to the M&G since I have a single membership. See ya soon!
Peace,
-Chelsie

You will have such a fun time meeting the guys Chelsea. I have been to 2 Wired Meet and Greets, and they are such fun!! Be sure to take something with you for the guys to sign. I took my Wired T-shirt to the last one, and each band member signed it for me. They usually have their own Sharpies, but it does not hurt to take one of your own. And take a camera if you can. Other Wired members are always willing to snap pics of you posing with each member of the band.
The guys are super nice, so I know you will enjoy your time at the Wired Meet and Greet. I am sure that by March you will think of questions that you want to ask each of the guys. I am sure you will do better than I do. I usually just stand there and smile. I get tongue-tied!! LOL!! I can't wait to hear all about it! You will have to let us know how it goes!!
See ya around!! :D

Okay... I will have plenty to keep their sharpies occupied!
I've got the Wired shirt, the black shirt that says 'I want the world to turn because of love', and I will probably buy one of those little posters. For the black one, I decided I would buy each of them their own silver sharpie so they could sign it and keep the sharpie. Okay, I was kinda worried about not getting pictures with them. Like I said in the post, I will be by myself! I hope I think of questions because I know that if I met them caught off-guard I would just be a statue standing there with a big grin on my face! :D Okay, I will keep you posted! Thanks!

Chelsea-Your post is very sweet! I'm not sure if I would know what to say to the guys if I ever get to a Meet & Greet! I'm sure I would be totally unable to speak. I like your idea of the silver sharpies. I hope you have a magical evening. I was hoping I'd get to see them the next night in Spencer, IA (on March 6), but don't think it is going to work out. So you enjoy your evening "double" for me, OK!?

Thanks! Yeah, if I don't think of something by then, I'll probably be speechless. I will probably have to practice over and over again. Well, I hope you find out some way to get to that concert. Okay, I sure will enjoy it for the both of us!
:D
You will have a blast! At my first M&G I just smiled and stared at Mac. He had a big grin and held out his hand for me to shake it and said, "Hi, I'm Mac"...I just stood there like a dork and he said,"....and you are?" The guys are wonderful...you may feel like you know them already but meeting them in person is almost surreal in a way....cause you do kinda , but not really.....kinda like when I first saw Bullwinkle at Universal Studios...:D

You're going to totally love meeting the guys. They are so personable. I too gave great thought as to what I was going to say. When I met Mac I said hello and told him my name and he said "Hi, I'm Mac" and I remember thinking "of course you are" LOL. I ended up talking to Mac about a spiritual moment I felt during the concert, thanked David for visiting the troops in Iraq and didn't really get a chance to say anything much to Mark or Tai but did pose for pictures with them. If you bring a camera that doesn't require a lot of adjustments to take pictures, you can usually get the person behind you to snap a picture for you. Mike the wired manager also takes cameo shots during the meet and greet. I was fortunate enough to have him take the picture of me and Mark and it was posted with the Wired photos for download. Don't worry too much about what to say -- you can tell them how you feel about the show or their music and just enjoy the meeting. Let us know how it goes!

Ahaha, that sounds like what I'll be doing! I'll probably be like a statue! I know that I will probably be staring at Mac the whole time! :)

Haha, okay! Here it is the night BEFORE the concert and I'm just sitting here, having no clue what to say! They'll probably have to start the conversation! :)

You will do fine!! I know you will have so much fun meeting them. Even if you just stand there and smile, like I usually do, they will still feel the love!!
Have fun and we all want to hear all about it!! Take lots of pics and make some great memories!! :D

So from the chart I can't tell if this is where Illinois plays basketball. I saw Peter Gabriel there in about 1983.
Or does Champaign have a smaller 3,000 seat theatre?

The assembly hall is where Illinois plays hoops. We get 16000 people in the hall for a sold out game. The concert will be under the star theater setup-with portions of the seats draped off to make it smaller and more intimate. Hope that helps. :)

The Wired M&G is so much fun, Chelsie! You can mention a song that you love, comment on the set list, or ask a brief question. I asked Mac about the new Glory Revealed project and talked with Tai about writing Otherside. The guys are so down to earth, but I know everyone is usually nervous meeting them for the first time. Hope you have a blast!

Haha, knowing me, I will probably just stand there, smile, and be speechless! I am really good at that! :)
Not so good at talking! Well, actually, when I hang out with Revive, I am pretty talkative! :) So, we'll see!
I am getting ready to head out in about an hour! I can't wait!
