Does anyone know if there are any camera restrictions for The University of Illinois Assembly Hall? Because, when I went to my first Third Day concert, they wouldn't even let you take pictures with your cell phone, which doesn't have flash. And, that was the only concert of Third Day I went to. But, Champaign, IL. will be my 2nd! Can't wait!

Check with the venue as they will have the camera policy. I've been to many 3D concerts that did not have the camera restriction.

Okay, thanks!
I checked it and it says, "Camera policy is determined on an event by event basis."

I just talked to the assembly hall folks and they said camera policy for the show is small cameras only. No cameras with detachable lens and no audio/video recorders. Hope that helps.:)

A lot of shows are like that, point and shoots are okay, but nothing with long lenses. Which is why when I was in the market for a new camera, despite my sister saying I should get a DSLR, I went with a high end point and shoot instead, I know DSLRs are better, but I wanted to get something with a good zoom that was built in so there's be less issues at concerts. :) Other than at Carowinds, which hates cameras of EVERY kind, I've never had a problem using it anywhere.
Have fun tomorrow night! :)
