VIP ticket perks for the Spring Tour

I ended up getting the VIP ticket for Fayetteville, not so much for the M&G or the CD (since I've already got the CD, and will hopefully be doing a Wired M&G after the show), but so I wouldn't be having to be dodging the Big Head Todds in rows A, B, and C to try and see during the concert, if I got a seat in the next price tier which would have put me in row D.

Now that I AM one of those Big Head Todds, LOL, and Ticketmaster just sent me my ticket this weekend, it got me wondering... nothing has been said about how one goes about getting the CD and the M&G pass that comes with the VIP package, at least not that I've seen. It wasn't the reason I bought it, but now that I HAVE, I don't want to miss out on the perks of having it.

Anyone know what the scoop is on that? Are you mailed something in advance, or do you show your ticket at a booth in the venue and they give you something then?

Thanks for any info that anyone can provide. :)

I'm sure that info will be posted soon. I venture to guess: (1) Like you said, you might have to show your ticket at the merch booth to redeem VIP perks, or (2) You might have to check in at the table where Mike Lehmann is set up for all things WIRED. But fear not. There is no viable, possible way that you're gonna go without.

Not too worried :) , it's just that info has been a little slow to flow about the starts of the presales, and the Wired M&G registration list for the fayetteville show hasn't been added to the Wired site yet either, so this was just another thing that was still up in the air so far as info getting out for Fayetteville.

Still two months to go until the concert, so still plenty of time to get the 411 on everything, but just thought I'd check to see if there was any info about it that I'd missed. (Much like I didn't see anyone had replied to this until 3 days after the fact. :D )

I didn't go back to check but I think in Tai's blog about the VIP tickets that the CD is given out at the M&G. I remember in Raleigh during the MBT, they were farming the VIP ticket holders in and out before TD went on and giving them the silver ID stick ons that said Gold Circle something something. Maybe they were going to their meet and greet at that time. (not based on any fact - just my observation)

I ended up with a Gold Circle sticker that night, but it didn't get me into a preshow M&G, it was just because we'd gotten seats in the first couple of rows. I think the guy who was handing them out said something about getting access to a special area with food and drinks or some such thing, but didn't say anything about a M&G. We never did go check it out, so if it WAS some sort of a preshow M&G, we missed it, lol. Oh well, had the Wired one afterwards. :)

Okay, now that people have started going to the shows, has anyone done the preshow VIP M&G yet? Still trying to get info on how that works, what time it starts, etc. so I know how early I need to get off of work that day to make the drive to Fayetteville...

Anyone know? :)

I am curious about the VIP M&G's too! I am playing hooky from work so I can make it to College Station on time. But is the M & G before or after the show? Should I get there extra early just in case?

When's your show? I just checked MY email and all I had was my usual weekly email from the folks at ereader. :( So I still have no clue... maybe yours is coming up sooner than mine?

That's actually kind of encouraging. If you didn't get any info on it up until 3-4 days prior to the show, they've still got until the end of the weekend to get up with me about the Fayetteville show. (One week from tonight! Yay!)
