So, it's after 11:30 AM (Eastern Time) on 1/23 and there are to be presales on a few shows today.

Last week, an email was sent out just before 10AM with the links for presales for that day.

I assumed the time would be 10AM again today, but I guess I was wrong.

What exactly IS the policy?

It sure would be nice to be given a heads up as to when the links would be sent out so I'd know when to be at a computer.

I don't know why we didn't get another email. I went to Ticketmaster.com at 10am and used the password that my local radio station gave out WIREDREVTOUR09 and bought my tickets.

Since going directly to Ticketmaster worked for you, I started searching. I found the Hattiesburg show on sale at iTickets.com.

Thanks! I would have been sitting here all day, I'm afraid.

I got an email from iTickets back on Tuesday saying the Fayetteville presale was going to be today that gave the password for it. Playing "follow the links" through a couple of different websites on Tuesday, I eventually ended up at the ticketmaster site where I actually found out that it was starting at 10am today.

Two and a half hours after the presale had already started, at about 12:30, the Wired email that announced the presale and the password showed up in my emailbox.

Can they not just send the password emails the night before? Is it a security thing? What good did it do to wait until the day of the presale when someone had already leaked it to iTickets three days ago?

Thankfully I did get that iTickets email and was banging on Ticketmaster's virtual gates at 10am this morning to get the tickets for Fayetteville.

Didn't you guys get the email with the password for the presales back when we had the first presale a month ago, or again on January 14?

I got the original email but the links to this second set of pre-sales were not on the 1st email and I filed it away. My local radio station broadcasted the same password over the air so I was able go to Ticketmaster who was selling for my venue and buy my tickets at 10am. I got my email today with the links for this round of sales time stamped 12:38 pm. I was able to work without it but obviously some others had problems finding who was selling tickets for their venues. Because the radio station advertised the presale with the password, I had to compete with non-wired members for my seats which I find perplexing. I thought we had exclusive access to the presale but obviously I was mistaken. =(

I received emails, but Fayetteville was a late arrival on the schedule, and wasn't on the first email, and was only showing as a TBA on the one that went out on the 14th. I wasn't notified via a Wired email that it was today until today, after the fact.

Very thankful that I got the notification from iTickets on Tuesday, or I wouldn't have had a clue the presale started this morning.

Corrine,
Thanks for the response!

Yeah, I got an email back on the 14th with the entire tour schedule, and the links to that day's presales.

There was a note that "some of these dates you will need the password (edited out) to purchase."

However, It did not mention anything about the presales for the 23rd, nor did I know if the password was the same or if it changed weekly.

The 23rd came and I had no idea:
1. What time the presale for that day started.
2. If it was the same password.
3. Who was handling the ticket sales (Ticketmaster, iTickets, etc...)

10:00 came and went and there was no email, nor had the tour page updated with links. That made me think the presale must be starting at a later time.

I finally did some searching on my own (after "truefan" posted they got theirs from Ticketmaster). I searched Google for Third Day Hattiesburg March 22" and found a couple places online advertising the show. One of them being iTickets.

iTickets actually had them on sale if you had the password, so I tried the one from the previous week's email and got them with no problem.

Finally, at 12:38PM, I received the email with the link to the presale site and the password. However, I had already found it on my own.

Thanks again for responding.
Travis

I was wondering if anyone knew if they would be offering presale tickets/meet and greet passes to the shows this summer that are not part of the spring tour? There's nothing currently posted by those shows under the presale link column. Thanks :)

I bought tickets for Sonfest which is a summer show through Ticketmaster. I don't believe there will be any pre-sale for shows that aren't part of the Revelation tour. They also don't usually do meet & greets for these shows.
