Our local Christian Radio Station just announced the presale for Revelation Tour Concert in Fayetteville and gave out the password to buy tickets. No wonder there are no VIP seats available to Wired Members!

The pre-sale won't start until tomorrow. Wired members don't really need to buy the VIP seats since the Wired M&G is separate. I just checked my e mail and the password hasn't been sent yet, so I don't know how the radio station could have announced it already.

Well they said the password was WIREDREVTOUR09 so we'll see what our emails say tomorrow and see if they were right. I emailed the contact person at wired maybe they'll change the password. *crosses fingers*

Well that actually worked out for me because I did not get another email today and I think I tossed the old one so having the password from the radio station got me Section 2 Row D. I locked in on front row first but settled for the regular priced as my friends couldn't afford VIP seating. It will be awesome never the less and I still get to go to the Meet and Greet.

I was in a meeting all morning and hadn't planned on going to this show, but it's odd that the e mail with the password didn't come until today instead of yesterday. Wired members were supposed to get the password on Thursday.

...I just checked my e mail and the password hasn't been sent yet, so I don't know how the radio station could have announced it already.
iTickets sent an email out back on Tuesday announcing that the presale was starting today, and it included the presale password. So if the radio station announced it yesterday, it had actually been floating around in cyberspace for a full two days before they picked up on it and aired it.
Very happy to have gotten the iTickets email though, since the Wired email with the password didn't hit my mailbox until a very UN-useful 2 and a half hours AFTER the presale had already started.
Very confusing though. Originally get emails from BandFarm saying to watch for presale emails and passwords, actually get the email and password from iTickets, who says to go to Premier Productions for tickets, and when I get to THEIR page, the "Buy Tickets" link sends me over to Ticketmaster. Then I get the email from Dale 2.5 hours after the presale has already started that has the link directly to Ticketmaster along with the password. Weee! It makes the head spin, lol.
On the bright side, as promised, all tickets were apparently made available for the presale this morning, not just the select not-as-good few that Ticketmaster would let Music Today sell like before (probably because these WERE being sold by Ticketmaster themselves right out of the gate this time, I'm guessing). Whatever the reason, it works for me. For the first time in a LONG time, I'm actually keeping the tickets I bought at a presale.

What a long and winding road you took! Where are your seats? I'm section 2 row d seats 6,7,8 if I remember the seats correctly. I called the Crown to ask how many rows of VIP seats and if the Sections 1,2 and 3 started with A and the person who answered the phone must have been on break because she was no help whatsoever. She said she did not know how many VIP rows there were and "ALL sections start with A ma'am". But if you look at the layout for endstage, the VIP section is rows A,B, and C and the sections start with D so I'm hoping that I'm actually 4th row from stage and not 7 or 8. Got my informative email at 12:38pm.

When I saw the seating charts for Crown, it was definitely showing rows ABC as VIP, and D being the first row of the regular section. I figured the ABC rows would be $75, and Row D would start with the $32s, and that's how it played out for me this morning when I pulled up a couple of different price tiers at the same time.
Since this one is mid week, Doug couldn't make it up from Concord, so I just got the one ticket this time. And since it'll most likely be my only 3D show this year, I sprung for the VIP ticket. First attempt I pulled up Row A, Seat 4, and threw it back. I've done front row seat 4 before, at the NC State Fair, and swore never again. Couldn't see, and was standing right next to the speaker wall. My ears were still buzzing the next morning.
Second attempt got me closer to center, A15 or 16 I think, and I went with that one. Checked a few more times on the other screen just to see what else would come up before I finalized it, and came up with A1 three times in a row, apparently nobody else wanted to sit at the far right either. :P
So it's all good. :) Actually got the seat I was shooting for, from the presale no less, even if I didn't get notified in enough time via Wired. Now I just have to keep checking back for the Wired M&G to be posted so I can sign up for that, then I'll be all set.

Glad you got the seat you wanted. I'm pretty excited to be 4th row. That's the closest I've ever been. Looking forward to the Meet and Greet also.

I got an email from the Wired Management and they said the promoter was not supposed to start advertising the information until 24 hours after we had the password. If that was the case, then the Wired Fans would have had first dibs as promised so I forgive the people who fudged the whole thing and appreciate the Wired folks for clearing it up. I still got awesome non VIP seats! I hope the show sells out cos last time they were here for their Christmas Tour, sales were poor. It was right around Circus time and any show that is near the Circus show never does well. People have to choose and most choose the Circus.

I remember that Mac said that the Fayetteville Christmas show was the smallest crowd on the tour. I just figured that since it was scheduled so late in the scheme of things, that a lot of people who WOULD have gone to see that show ended up going to the next closest one, which was Greenville, SC, and by the time they actually announced Fayetteville as a scheduled stop, people already had their tickets for Greenville and for whatever reasons, couldn't do both.
Fortunately, Fayetteville was "kind of" on my way home from Greenville that weekend (it would have been 2.5 hours directly home to Raleigh from Concord, or 2.5 hours from Concord to Fayetteville with a pitstop for the concert and then just another 45 minutes home from there), so I went to both. My first and only back to back shows, both followed up with Wired M&Gs.
Just got my ticket for THIS show in the mail this weekend. The service charges that Ticketmaster charges are ridiculous, but at least for the money we get prompt accurate service, none of this waiting until a week before the concert before sending tickets, and then finding out what they sent you was not what you were supposed to get.

Got my tickets also. The Christmas show was my first Third Day show. I was embarrased that we had such a poor showing. Several years back, the Professional Ice Skating tour "Smuckers Stars on Ice" came to Fayetteville and it was sold out. So they put us back on the tour the next year and sure enough it was right around Circus time and the sales were low. The tour started going to Raleigh instead. I think around Christmas, a lot of military families go home and with the deployments, there's fewer locals to add to the mix. I hope that this show does well so we don't get dropped although I do love going to the bigger venues to a sold out show! The energy is better.
