Opinions?

Mentioned Yeshua/Jesus/etc. as a closing is cool in my book.

Didn't hear it. Had to be better than the tripe of Gene Robinson earlier in the week.

^ That was a joke.

Warren's prayer may have been a bit preachy but I liked it. The Lord's Prayer closing was solid.

The Benediction should've been given by Rev. Kerney Thomas:

I am not a big fan of prayers that become mini-sermons, but overall I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the addition of the Lord's Prayer was great. He didn't shy from mentioning Jesus by name. His reference to Jesus as the .."..One who changed his life." was a little nuebulous, but given the circumstances I suppose I should be happy he did that much.

I'll have to look this up...

Well maybe I don't...

The Benediction should've been given by Rev. Kerney Thomas:

I've heard some of it which sounded like jibberish.

i liked the part where he said "someday, all nations and people will be accountable before you God."

Amen.

Which was it? Yeshua? Jesus? Both?

I humbly ask this in the name of the one who changed my life, Yeshua, Isa, Jesus [Spanish pronunciation], Jesus, who taught us to pray:

Then the Lord's prayer. And Y'shua is also a valid spelling.

Praying in the name of "Isa"? Doesn't he know that "Isa" is not the Arab name for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? "Isa" is the name of the "prophet" in the Qur'an, not the Son of God of the Bible. True Arab speaking Christians refer to Jesus as Yasou.
