Mac Singing Mighty to Save

This may be old news to you guys, but yesterday I was messing around on iTunes and did a search for Mac Powell, and I found a recording of him singing Mighty to Save. Thought maybe you all would like to know.:cool:

It's on an album that was just released Dec. 14, 2008 called "The Daraja Children's Choir of Africa". I love that song so I had to get it. Mac does a really good job on it.:)

Just picked up the track from Amazon.com (They've got the whole album in mp3 format for under $8). Sounds great.

Did a double take when I read the album track list though, when I saw that Jeff Foxworthy was on the last track. Wonder if he found out if Mac was smarter than a fifth grader. ;)

I saw them perform the song together on Praise the Lord. She was awesome!! She actually drowned Mac out for the most part, now that's hard to do! :eek:

The album isn't exactly full of my favorite songs, but nonetheless I downloaded the whole thing to hear those kids sing. Just one thing... Geoff Moore???? Without The Distance??????

I downloaded this one today. WOW. I've heard Laura Story do this song, but this version is just so much more powerful. Totally amazing! I almost hate to admit this, but I like some of his other stuff more than some of the Third Day stuff :eek:
