Welcome back. I've been away for awhile, too. What seats did you get?

Thanks! I bought 6 tickets, but right now only 3 are spoken for. I have 4 seats in row E and 2 seats in row F, both in the middle section. I thought about getting the VIP package but I couldn't ask my friends to pay $75 per ticket and I can't make up the difference! I'm already in the Wired Fan Club so I'm excited about the Meet & Greet too! I really love this album and I'm excited about the tour!
i'm opting not to buy any ticket(s) right now. The pre-sale choices don't reflect the chance to purchase the "best" seats in the house ahead of time as the WIRED membership claims (IMHO). :( The $75  VIP pkg choice wasn't even an option to purchase at this time either (I tried it just to see what would come up). I may just pass on this show altogether after all. I'll check again when the regular sale begins because nothing better than 12th row as soon as the tix went on PRE-sale this morning... c'mon  ... NO THANKS.

BJ,
I'm not sure what troubles you had. When I checked at 10:10 a.m. for "best available" I was given the choice for row F. I went back and checked the VIP tickets and was given row A seats. I decided that this would probably be my last year with Wired and therefore my last chance at a pre-sale, so I went ahead and purchased the VIP tickets. But man, the fees made those tickets $86 a piece. But, I just wanted front row just once.
My point is that I was able to check the VIP seating. I assumed since I was given row 6 with "best available," that rows 1-5 were the VIP section. If row 12 is all that is available now, more people could be choosing the regular seating. I would try the VIP seating again if you want to see if you can get closer.

Okay, I just tried to check the VIP tickets and it didn't let me either. I'm guessing those must be sold out.

You might want to read what Tai wrote about VIP tickets on the Wired blog:

I got SEC-3, row D, seats 7-8 during the pre-sale and chose the regular seats.
I bought these as a "backup plan" because we are trying to arrange a trip to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to visit some friends and go to that show.
Which, by the way, is scheduled to go on pre-sale today. However, I don't know when. It's after 10AM and I still do not have an email, nor is there a link to purchase tickets on the Third day Tour page.
I have work to do, but have to keep checking my mail.
Ugh.
If that trip falls through, I will go to the Fairfax show, but don't know if I can afford to keep these tickets if we go to Hattiesburg. So... I may have 2 tix for sale at a later date.
