For those of you that believe in the sanctity of life and believe that abortion is wrong, please call your congressperson and tell them to vote NO on 21 Jan 2009 to stop the Freedom of Choice Act.
For those of you who believe that a woman has a right to choose, please consider the fact that if this passes your child, or niece, or adolescent friend will be able to have an abortion without her parents consent or even knowledge of the act.
Among other things, this act will force medical providers who now can refuse to participate in abortion or administering the morning after pill to provide these services on demand per law.
Partial birth abortions and abortions performed by non medical persons will be also allowed.
I'm not writing this to debate the issue - it's between you and your higher power if you support or object to abortion, I'm asking all who are pro-life to hurry up and voice your objection to this act. Congress will vote right after the inauguration.
