If anyone out there was as puzzled as me about getting tickets to this show, go to etix.com and you can buy your tickets or call the venue. I bought mine online and it was fast and easy. See you at the show.

I see that floor and bleacher seating are general admission. Think I'll wait for the Greensboro show that Mac mentioned last month. It's not posted yet, but all the dates have not been announced.

That would be awesome. I missed the Asheville concert so maybe I'll catch them in Greensboro as well.

The venue will not charge any handling fee not sure about the etix. I called and they mailed them to me within 3 days. Can't wait, Asheville show was awesome and this small of a venue should be even better. I found out today that Carl Cartee will be the other one for this show. Worth a 5 hr drive hope to see ya'll there

I'm really looking forward to the weekend getaway and concert with my wife on the 7th. I'll be driving from Alabama for the show, but I know it will be worth it! Of course, with my luck, they'll probably plan a show in Montgomery the night before . . . Then I guess I could go to both! :) See ya'll there.

I see a Fayetteville date has been added to the tour, but still waiting for the Greensboro show that Mac told me about last month.

Oooh, Fayetteville has been added? My first 3D show was there for the Wired tour, and I saw the Christmas Offerings tour there as well. It's actually closer than Greensboro for me, I usually get home from there in about 45 minutes, if I don't get lost trying to find my way back to I-95.

The addition of the Fayetteville show is a good thing, since I'm needing to bail on the Williamston show anyway to stay home with my mom, who will have just had breast cancer surgery 3 days before (yes, after being cancer free for the last 20 years, it's :( BAAAACK! A full recovery is expected though, whew, since they caught it early again) . She's only going to be in the hospital overnight, but given that we've done this before, I'm figuring that she'll need me to stay around and help with some of the "try not to gag" post-op home care that following weekend, and I don't need to be anywhere that far away from home at that point. So an additional show further down the line in April is a VERY good thing.

With two NC dates scheduled now, I wonder if a Greensboro date is still in the cards, or if Fayetteville was the show Mac was thinking about before. *scratches head*

I am soooo glad they decided to put NC on the tour, especially Fayetteville. I just wish it were on a Fri or Sat, as Wed night is pretty hard to pull off with work the next morning and school for my daughter........but not impossible. That's what vacation days are for! Hope to see some of you there; it's been a while since I've been able to go to one of their concerts and I AM SO READY! BTW I so look forward to seeing them with Toby Mac this summer at Carowinds too! Outdoor concerts are my favorite.

I didn't even think to check to see what day that date was... it's a WEDNESDAY? Guess I don't have to ask D if he wants to go to this one, I don't see him being able to come up from Concord mid-week for it. Oh well. Better seat choices for me that way anyway. ;)

I hear you. I'll be taking a vacation day as well. Hoping for a meet and greet cos I'll be traveling to Williamston with some non-wired members and I don't want to make them wait in the car for an hour! We can drive separately to the Fayetteville show. Hope they announce the pre-sale soon. I know what you mean about the outdoor concerts. Music Builds Tour at the Pavillion was awesome.

Thanks Elaine. They caught it early so hopefully this will get rid of it once and for all.

Still keeping my fingers crossed for Greensboro as well, I'm sure I'll still hit Fayetteville, hate to pass up that one, but Greensboro is where D and I usually meet for our halfway point meetups between his house and mine, so THAT would be the concert for both of us to go to.

Are you sure Mac was correct about Greensboro? The tour schedule is pretty full already. I'll be in Williamston and Fayetteville. Now I just wish I knew when the Fayetteville tickets went on sale. The lack of info that surrounds a Third Day tour is often very frustrating!

I listened to the Asheville December show on Wired radio yesterday. Mac said we are coming to Greensboro or somewhere else around there on the spring tour.

This show is 4 hours away from me, but I am tempted to buy tickets since it's on a Saturday. Fayetteville is closer, but in the middle of the week which would mean either taking a vacation day or getting back home really late.

I hear you. I'm taking a vacation day Thursday after the Fayetteville show because I figure after the meet and greet it will be rather late and although I only have about 30 minute drive, I'm usually too pumped up to go right to sleep afterward. I'm not going to the meet and greet at Williamston because we have 2 1/2 hour drive back.

I have listened to Third Day for a while, but my first show will be in Williamston. I seemed to be deployed each time they were in the area.

How do I go about getting to the meet and greet? Would I get to meet the band?:D

Does anyone know about the venue besides the info I can find online?

Thanks

You have to be a Wired member to attend the after show M&G. You do get to meet the guys, get an autograph and a picture with the band. Some of the spring dates are selling VIP packages that include a M&G, but this show is general admission.

It's only an hour and a half from me, but sticking around home to be with mom after her surgery tomorrow. Plus it turns out my uncle (her brother) is flying in from New Mexico that night to stay and see her for several days, so I probably need to be here when he gets here.

So I've got to hold out this time and wait for Fayetteville. Everyone who IS going, have an excellent time, and I'll expect a full report to be posted when y'all get back. :)

I am in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. I checked out directions on Mapquest and it estimated a 5 hour drive. I don't mind the drive, I just don't like to travel alone. :( I am still undecided. I don't have anyone to meet up with either.

I've never seen them as the opening band. Our first 3D concert was at the Charlotte Knights stadium several years ago. Hyperstatic Union and Leeland were with them on that tour. One of my favorite shows was the Christmas Offerings tour stop in Greenville. If you go to this show on Saturday, were you planning to spend the night or try to drive back?

I went to see the Newsboys years ago and Third Day was the opening band. I had no idea who they were at the time. It seems so weird to think there was a time I did not know who they were!!!!!!!! But I remember the song "Thief" made an impression on me that nite!! Still one of my favorites by them.

If I go to the show, and right now that is such a big IF, I would have to stay in a hotel. I would be so late leaving the venue after the M&G, so I would not risk driving home.

The Greenville show was yesly one of the best shows ever!! Especially since you and I met there. I still can't pass a Zaxby's sign on the highway and not think of you!! :D

My best year since starting to go to 3D shows was probably 2006, when I went 7 times. Put a LOT of miles on the car that year. Had to cut WAY back since then, though... :(

Actually, I did find Zaxby's chicken to taste really good. :) I think I had it in their Mediterranean Salad that time.

It was just the aftermath that has kind of kept me away since then. Plus there really isn't one close to my now, since I'm working someplace else. But I HAVE been meaning to go back there again, since it really could have been just a coincidence that I had tummy issues afterwards.

Tonight's the concert! Have a good time, y'all!
