It starts and ends, not really, with the Hawkeyes smashing the Gamecocks 31-10.

the big 10 laid another egg in a bcs bowl. when will the powers that be realize that the big 10 is no better than the MAC and quit making us watch lopsided BCS games?
Texas will demolish Ohio St.

Pac 10 weak? 5-0 bowl record.
My Oregon State Beavers beat Pitt in the Sun Bowl 3-0. It was very fun game to watch. ;) However, we were missing half of our offensive production with injuries to James and Jacquizz Rodgers, so there is an excuse for the poor offense.

This is a Big 12 vs. SEC article.
Interesting comments on the Big 10.

SEC fans proudly boast that their league has won the last two national championships both in blowout wins over Ohio State. Conclusion: Ohio State is a "fraud" that plays in a "joke" Big Ten and should be kept far away from all BCS title games for at least 50 years.
SEC fans won't tell you that in the last two years, the league is 3-3 against the Big Ten in bowl games. Or that in the last four years the SEC is 5-6 against the Big Ten in bowl games. And you know what? They SHOULDN'T tell you all that. You want facts, look the damn things up yourself.

Jan. 5, 8 p.m., Ohio State vs. Texas (Big 12), Fiesta Bowl: If Texas wins, SEC fans will yawn and say everybody beats Ohio State this time of year.

Texas 24-21 with a last second touchdown. No Big 12 dominance over the Big Ten in this game. And I know some of the discussion is SEC and not Big 12.

Win isn't nearly enough of statement for Texas

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Congratulations, Texas. You won. You beat a tortoise-slow Ohio State team with its overrated coach who can no longer win a big postseason game. Nice work.

Let's call this what it was. This was a lucky 24-21 Fiesta Bowl win over an average team whose claim to fame now is beating Michigan. Whoop-de-damn-do. Everyone beats Michigan. Appalachian State beats Michigan. You won, Texas, but this was still uglier than one of Barry Switzer's chocolate pinstripe suits.
Because you needed to demolish Ohio State, I believe, to impress voters and have a chance at No. 1 in the country and you should've destroyed this team. This squeaker likely devastates your cause and obliterates any argument you have at claiming No. 1.
Demolish was a strong word and fortunately did not come to fruition.

Thats what happens when you play in a league with no defense.

The SEC has defense? And I really don't know that is why I'm asking.

Apparantly that SEC Defense showed up last night to hold the Sooners to 14 point. Congrats to the Gators. And thats a lot coming from a 'Noles fan. Im a huge Tebow fan though. He ran within 5 feet of me last night on the field after the game. I got knocked over by a camera man that was running next to him lol.
