I used to go to these all the time as a child/teen. Always had a ton of fun and got to make alot of friends. A good way to learn about a portion of our US history, too. Haven't been in a while due to family life but been thinking about getting back into it.....PM's also welcome.

I used to be really into re-enacting. I also worked as a historical interpreter at Colonial Williamsburg (http://www.history.org) I miss firing flintlocks but it just became too expensive to keep doing it.

I take it you wore the grey.......... I have a flintlock also. Kentucky long rifle w/ an almost purple and blonde striped stock.

Well if I did Civil War it was the grey...Mostly though I did Rev. War reenacting. I miss it.

Nice piece btw. I always borrowed a friend's fowling piece or Bess. You ever do any field music? I've been into the fife for a few years. Not really any good but I can keep up!
