I am trying to find this book that I read some years ago it was a christian fiction book basically the plot was this
it was about a daughter who ran away from home. Her father was a legalistic pastor. Without her parents knowledge she got married but died giving birth to her daughter and it shook the faith of the father and mother of the dead girl.
the mother was so distraught that she died of heartbreak and the pastor ran away from faith. He took a trip got in trouble with the law for a bit and than found his long lost granddaughter
This was a wonderful book I remember but for the life of me cant remember the author nor the name of the book.
does this in anyway sound familier to anyone?????
