Regretably the IL and IA shows are not going due to the passing of drummer David Carr's father. I called the Assembly Hall box office (217) 333-5000, and they said it's unknown whether it will be rescheduled and to check back later. My prayers are with David, his family, and as always, all of Third Day.

I am so bummed about tonight's show being cancelled but of course understand fully. For anyone who may have purchased tickets via Ticketmaster and are wondering about a refund, I received the following response from their Customer Service Department when inquring:
At this time, we have not received official word from the promoter that the event has been canceled. When we receive confirmation that the event has been cancelled, and that refunds will be issued, we will post the information immediately on our website. We are currently working with the promoter to obtain this information. Please keep visiting our website for new updates. We regret any inconvenience this delay causes.
So...I checked the website this morning and apparently they STILL don't know it's cancelled! :-(
I wish they would post something saying this show has been rescheduled and all tickets will be good for the next show...that way I wouldn't have to fight for my 2nd row seats again! Ha! :P

Right on. I rec'd same msg on my machine. However according to my calendar, March 5 is a Thursday. Tuesday would be the 3rd. AHA -- Ticketmaster has it Thursday the 5th.
I assume Music Today will do same thing as TicketMaster, honor tickets? I hope so since my MT tix are better than TM.

This happened with us in Salt Lake City a while back, only it went from March to a September date. Usually if tickets are honored for a rescheduled show, it shouldn't matter who the ticket vendor is.
