Third Day's management has decided to cancel the band's concert at the Civic Center of Des Moines. You can receive a refund for your tickets through Ticketmaster.
My son left me a message that it was postponed until spring and here is what i found out about that:

The Third Day/Need to Breathe Concert has been postponed until May :(
The Third Day home page does not list 10/30 but starts with 10/31. I find no announcement out here in the Press section.

It would be great if you could, but I understand if it doesn't work. I just mght have to mke the trip to Des Moines in May.

The Civic Center says they are waiting to hear from Third Day. They are trying to reschedule and if so my tix are good for the same seats. I can deal with that...
Stuff happens.

Wow. Total bummer.
I guess that means Champaign (IL) will be their first show -- that will be cool -- unless they cancel that one too. Yikes!

We sometimes forget that entertainers are people too. They have family obligations and problems just like us. I hope things go well for David's family.

Tax day. Bummer. Seeing Third Day after filing taxes. Priceless ;-)
The Champaign show was cancelled too. I figured with the death of David's dad it might be.

We file taxes around February 1st.
This just in yesterday at noon from the Civic Center. Beggar’s night impacted the decision?
THIRD DAY Postponement Reminder
Third Day, originally scheduled to appear at the Civic Center tonight with
NEEDTOBREATHE and Revive, has been postponed to Wednesday, April 15, 2009.
Current tickets will be honored the night of the concert and additional tickets can be purchased now.
As a gesture to ticket buyers to accommodate Beggar's Night in the community, the band agreed to postpone the concert to April 15.
